not a place you would want to hang out in, but well located and comfortable for overnight stays. if you are touring all day and walking around the city at night you will be comfortable here. we were happy to save money on accom and spend it in other ways while in saigon.

Location close to many things worth visiting, Shops and restaurants cross the street. The room was small but enough space all we wanted was a bed and a shower after been out all day sightseeing. Breakfastbuffe was ok. A nice hotell and not very expensive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
One day tour at the Mekongriver was absolut fantastic.
Halv day tour chuchi tunnels was not so grate, 2 hours driving at bumpy roads in each direction and a speedguidetour trough the area...you could just aswell read about the tunnels.

we arrived at 1:00 am, the bell boy was very helpful and the room was already prepared and clean. there was no language barrier since they could understand english. taxi was never a problem since a staff from vinasun taxi was outside the hotel waiting for passengers to just radio the driver.
Restaurant Tip:
the hotel was surrounded with restaurants. le jardin, a french restaurant, is just in front of it. coffee bean and tea leaf, sambas, and pizza hut is just around the corner.

Beautiful place and beautiful staff
Staff were so chatty and friendly and helpful. We really did adore them. They went above and beyond the call of duty, calling the bank and organizing a fix when the ATM chewed up our card.. Room and breakfast was nice also.

Apart from a bit of leaky plumbing in the bathroom, this place felt very home-like. So homelike that we even extended our stay! We are sad to leave, but excited to return. The hotel is also in a great location, a bit away from the hassle of the city but close enough to walk to, surrounded by great food!
Nightlife Tip:
Go to Sheridans Irish pub, fantastic atmosphere and great staff.

i went to hcm for a 3d2n stay there, i booked sophia hotel recommended from a friend.
it's a nice hotel. since i went there with my parents, so we booked a family room, comprises of 1 queen size bed & 1 single bed. the room is alright, not too big, but not too small. it's clean & complete basic amenities they provide, shower gel, shampoo, hair dyer, toothbrush set, comb, hair net, towels. the breakfast that they provide more to local food & nice taste. the hotel location is quite near to some places in the city (since is in district 1), is walking distance to notre dame cathedral, central post office; diamond shopping mall, hard rock shop; if you walk slightly further you may reach the opera house, ben thanh market, parkson malll, etc. the hotel staff also very friendly. i can say i have a pleasant stay there & look forward to stay there again next time i come back for holiday.
