Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

It was a nice hotel for the price in a great location near many resturants, bars, and
massage. Staff was very friendly! I would stay again for short time.

Good location but small room
6.7
Stayed with the family with two young children. The room, declared as family room was small. The room was generally clean. The room located on the fith floor had only a relatively small window. The window had no protection to prevent from falling out (especially for small kids)

Comfortable for somewhere to crash at night
8.7
not a place you would want to hang out in, but well located and comfortable for overnight stays. if you are touring all day and walking around the city at night you will be comfortable here. we were happy to save money on accom and spend it in other ways while in saigon.

I would stay in the same hotel and I recommend friends to stay at Sophia Hotel. The hotel is within walking distant to places of interest.
Shopping Tip:
Take care of your personal items . I lost my camera while shopping at Ben Than Market

great location but small rooms
8.7
hotel is clean. Friendly staff. Food not so hot but ok. Rooms were a little squeezy only because we needed an extra bet to cater for the four of us. This was the second stay and one porter would always be there to open the door for us and then run over to get my children a lolly from the bowl on the counter. Shower was hot. There was only a small window and not really a view but you at least had air.
Shopping Tip:
if you a size 10 busty girl - don't bother trying on local clothing. We just don't fit!!

Great location but small rooms
8.7
had no problems with hotel except we needed an extra bed to cater for the four of us and it took up all the space in the room. Bathroom stayed very hot but great for drying anything. Staff very friendly and this was our third stay back here and the porters couldn't do enough for you. Location was great - easy to walk to markets, city centre and restaurants but it is so hot at times it is just as easy and cheap enough to grab a cab!
Restaurant Tip:
house of vietnemese had great food - you had traditional live music - cheap

Great location but small rooms
great location, walking distance to city centre
8.7
Sophia is a in great location. It was in walking distance to markets, city centre, restaurants etc. Hotel staff were friendly especially the porters. They were very helpful to catch a taxi for you. It was very clean...the room had a window for air....breakfast was not overally hot but ok. We travelled with 2 adults and 2 children and chose the family room. A bit squishy as you have to have an extra bed put in that takes up the free space - but we were not there to stay in the hotel. Make sure you tick the extra bed if you have the option on agoda (it made us tick it the first stay we had at Sophia and not on the second stay so we had to pay $10us to have the extra bed even though it allows you to book for 4). Showers were hot and had pressure. We spent 3 days here and then went travelling and returned for another stay. Value for money
Restaurant Tip:
if you are looking for a really good coffee - go to Bernies down the road....Meals are good too. If you just want to stop in a bar for a drink go around the corner to the blue gekko - really friendly. Nice cold drinks - you can have the ice.
