stay was very pleasant. to get there from airport & since we'd flown in from australia via singapore we were really glad to get to bed. very impressed with quality of hotel. breakfast was best buffet we had the whole time we were in vietnam!

The room was of good size, clean and well insulated from the noises from the streets below. Staff was very friendly and always more than happy to assist. Location was very close to the airport (less than 10 mins), but a little away from the CBD. Overall, very happy with the stay and level of services provided. Will definitely stay here again next time in Sai Gon.

Got hotel pickup firstly which was wonderful and still waiting even though our flight was 40 minutes late. From the time we got in the air conditioned mini bus we never had to touch our bags again. Rooms can be joining and are very comfortable. Pool and bar is amazing overlooking busy city intersections. Service whole way through was great drinks are very cheap. Wonderful experience and will be going back.

exceptional last minute hotel. chose because of the name and it didnt fail me in any way. staff were exceptional, food amazing, rooms delicious. a wonderful place and highly recommended for all the right reasons. impressive rooms provided great comfort after a relatively short but intense flight. quick and efficient check-in staff were very helpful as well and much appreciated at the end of a long day.

Close to airport, good choice for overnight stay

Starcity hotel was a good choice for an overnighter near the airport. Staff are helpful, room was fine. Could not get the shower hot water to work, which was a shame. The room is a little dated and there is still smoking around the hotel. Breakfast was good. Wifi was great. There is a small pool in the hotel as well. Overall I wouldn't recommend for a lengthy stay in HCMC but if you're looking for a transit hotel it's a good choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Look out for the cabbies at HCMC airport - they will rip you off! Insist on using the meter and don't be fooled by their 'extra charges'. They will offer you fares like $10 that may sound reasonable but the real fare is closer to $2-$3 (for this hotel or around $5-$6 for city).

the hotel room was very nice, clean and tidy. staffs are very polite and professionally served. overall i was very happy with my room and the breakfast was great. thank you. i would recomended everyone to stay here if you are business traveller and need a hotel closed to the airport. 7mins drive to the airport.

Great rooms attentive staff

We landed in Ho Chi Minh City and went straight to a busy night out and ended up checking in quite late at night. The staff were really helpful and very attentative. When we got to our rooms they were fabulous. Late night room service arrived minutes later. Wonderful.

The hotel is very clean and nice.
I had a problem with a washroom sink and the staff came up to fix it promptly.
The hotel is about 5 mins taxi ride from the airport.
I had a terrible taxi driver from the hotel to the airport which left me a bad impression.
