Small, Clean and Smiling Hotel
Clean, Hotel Staff fluently in English, good location for city tour

it was surprise for me, because the hotel looks very small. but after i check in, the hotel staff can speak english fluently, helpful. the bedroom is standard size not too small. the room very clean and comfortable for used.so i am not regreat to stay overnight (4 days) during my visiting at ho chi minh.

Great Location but wifi not working

stay for 3 nights in december 2011. overall, it is a typical hotel that you can expected from a 3 star rating, room is rather small but acceptable to me as i was travel alone.
on the second day, the wifi wasn't working, informed the receptionists, but no one addressed the issue till next morning. after several complaints, they arranged change of room to other floor where the wifi is working. it's not great but acceptable.
an ashtray was provided in the room, with a sign of 'no smoking' placed on top of the ashtray.

Good location
Convenient to Ben Thanh Market but quieter location

We had no problem checking-in even when our flight was delayed & we arrive about 12am. Hotel is next to new Financial Tower with viewing gallery of Ho Chi Min City.
The breakfast provided has little selection but with so many small cafes and coffeeshops around this is no problem.
Hotel staff is friendly and helpful, service is good.

good value for the money,good location. big rooms with air conditioned, clean and helpful personal.otherwise it doesn't have spa,and of you arrange trips with them ( mekong,cu chi,) notice that you'll pay a few dollars more,as happened to us without knowing it before

great location in district 1 downtown area within easy walking distance of war museum, reunification palace, ben tanh market and the back packers area etc. the staff were incredibly helpful and the rooms, although small, were clean and comfy. ideal for what we needed which was a place to sleep after a days sightseeing and night out for dinner and drinks. breakfast was great too. hotel organised trips to cu chi tunnels and mekong delta appeared to be good value with knowledgeable guides.
Nightlife Tip:
dinner and cocktails at the rex hotel rooftop bar which is about 5 mins walk away is not to be missed. famous for the five o'clock follies. this is like no other hotel bar i have been to - complete with crooner and live flamenco band, it's like a step back in time 40 years. while the back packers area on bui vien street in particular is good for cheap eats and beer - as little as 10,000 vnd.

need a location closer in to the action
The reception people were great

a bit isolated location with what could be an iffy neighborhood.
Our reservation confirmation did not have the address of the hotel and the cab driver circled the area. We ended up paying 300,000 extra for the cab ride and were not very happy about it.

very nice place to stay, good value. buffet breakfast good. hotel is handy to everything without being in the main drag. rooms are comfortable enough and clean with staff on the whole being very courteous and helpfull and i would not hesitate to stay there again myself and would tell my friends so
