Small but clean hotel
very good location.. near to sheraton and in the heart of district 1. reasonable price

I am happy with my stay. The receptionist are friendly.
All room are equipped with wifi and there is a wide range of TV channel available for viewing.
The breakfast is reasonable good as compare to those in mini-hotel.

good location, but room is small

this hotel is in good location, belong the center of downtown. there are many nice restaurant around here, as spanich, italy, mid-ocean...
but the room is small, and the sheet seems not so clean. the food is easy to get ants on table, i have to throw the garbage outside even the sweet-packing.
when i took the shower, the water flow was not strong enough. and the water flow in sewer was slow.
Restaurant Tip:
There are many nice restaurant around here, as spanich, Italy, mid-ocean, india, japan, korea.

Clean hotel with great service, fantastic location
Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Location was good. Rooms were clean.

we stayed here twice, once in a room with a window, once in a room without. the staff was very friendly. they helped us negotiate a more expensive taxi trip, let us check out late when possible. the location is great. the hotel itself is not particularly attractive and the breakfast is nothing special, but overall and for the price, a good deal. we'd definitely go back.

The hotel is a bit basic but the staff does everything to make you feel at home. The area is a bit noisy and lot of pimps walking around in the evening but once they know you are not interested they will not keeep bothering you

there are so many hotels in hcmc; its amazing that this one is so inexpensive for the great downtown (district 1) location. value for money and location are excellent for shopping, dining, sightseeing, partying. and really clean and new.

hotel was very small but nice and clean. when you walk down the steps you are in the main road. lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. be very careful with the motor bike taxis. do some inquiries before committing to a trip. the hotel does not have a big range of food at breakfast time. it was included in the room rate but was very basic. not like some other hotels in thailand.

Convenient location but a bit down at the heel

This hotel dropped a 1/2 star after we booked and deservedly so. The walls had scuff marks, and the tile needed a grout brush. I paid extra for "a window," and although there was some sunlight, you don't get a view through glass bricks. We were near the Opera House, Notre Dame and the post office, which was convenient. The breakfasts were not appetizing, and the pot of greasy fried eggs was a disappointment after several mornings in other hotels eating omelets to order.

I went to Ho Chi Minh with my parents, my sister and her children. We stay at Tan Hai Long 4 hotel for 3 nights. The rooms were not too big but clean and nice. The staffs were kind and willing to help. Breakfast were simple but good enough for us and the children. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

this hotel has a great central location for shopping and sightseeing. the rooms are quite large and the upgraded rooms on the upper floors even have nice large windows. the air conditioning was great to come back to after a 91+ degrees f day of shopping and sightseeing.
the only negative about this hotel is the breakfast. nothing cooked on site and much of the food was for the local people.
food we couldn't identify and therefore couldn't eat.
the french baguettes were great.
we had an accident with a fall and the front desk was super helpful. we appreciated all the concern and care they gave us.
Shopping Tip:
Go to the Ben Than shopping mall and the Saigon Square Mall. Both within 15 min walk from the hotel. Skip the Ben Tay wholesale market in Chinatown.

i had lovely nights in tan hai long 4. room was clean, food was ok and service was good. i have no complain about the hotel. however the window in my room is useless can not view anything from there but the restaurant.
