great service with affordable price + very close to ben thanh market.
at first was a bit disappointed. they said didn't get any order/notification from agoda regarding my booking. end up they gave me 2 rooms at 9th floor (highest floor) instead of 4th floor i was requesting.
however, great room and also great service. will come again 2013 june.
good job!

tan hoa ngoc hotel, hcmc, vietnam is a lovely hotel providing good service and is very well situated.
it is centrally located, accessible to all shopping and night market as it is situated in the heart of the famous ben than market.
receptionist were polite and accommodating. travel agency is just right next to the hotel for your sightseeing arrangements and bookings. restaurants and markets for street food are also just outside the hotel.
i highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay here again on my next trip/visit to hcmc, vietnam.
the big plus in this hotel is that they provide computer with internet access inside the room which makes it very convenient for the guest.
very good hotel and highly recommended.
Travel tip:
Very close to shopping and night markets. Restaurant and street food are just outside the hotel. So many variety to choose from.

Stayed for 4 nights and spent little time in the hotel but when i was there it was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Value for money
And a very convenient location for a good night life and close to the markets and river.
There are a few travel agencies next door so you can plan your day trips or getaways from here quite easily. And you can bargain for everything in HCMC
Cons: The beds may need replacement soon...need a more comfortable mattress

Conventiently located next to Ben Thanh Market
Center/Quiet - excellent noodle soup (breakfast)

We stayed here as a couple 3 times. I find the rooms to be clean, neat. However no balcony. The Computer in the room works (but no printer - ask the reception to print).
They do not know good english - but try their best. Reception staff is friendly and helpful.
I always enjoyed breakfast, especially the chicken noodle soup and the orange juice.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get a room at the top of the building (blends out the traffic noise fully).

3 min away from Ben Thanh market . Only location is good . Hotel small , room small and creepy . Breakfast not tpp good . Check out next and book another hotel for another day

Great location but worse room

As the feedback given by other guest very high but a real disappointment with the small room even though we booked Deluxe room , shaky bed , shabby toilet , small hotel lobby and small dining area .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
2 min walk from hotel to Ben Thanh market . The travel agency next to the hotel very good and cheap , we booked our hanoi trip from them .
