Friendly Receptionist &great location near airport

I had a great stay. Room has good A/C and TV. Bed was big size. Room was overall very clean. Receptionist very friendly! Because I had to wait for the previous people in my room to check out, the receptionist ask a waitress to bring me a free lemon drink that was super sweet, delicious and refreshing on a hot day.

i stayed at thien vu for 6 days. the hotel is clean, cheap and located in walking distance of nguyen van troi market where you can find amazing tropical fruits and good food stands and new market for western grocery items. hotel staff is friendly, honest and very helpful. i recommend thien vu if you travel on budget and want good service.

We stayed at this hotel 3 weeks ago when we arived in Vietnam and had no hesitation re booking when we arived back in HCMC on our way back to Australia. would not find better service in a hotel of any price. and for a budget hotel would not find better facilities. The service we recieved was 1st class. As I said in my last review on this hotel down a side street so no traffic noise, and bus or taxi to city centre is very reasonable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you go into town beware the cyclo's. just avoid them and your stay will be much more enjoyable.

10 minutes from the airport

the staff was friendly and helpful, i had a little difficulty contacting a local friend by phone and the help expedite things for me. the room was clean and and quiet. i only needed a cheap hotel for a 1 day layover for a flight and this hotel worked out well for me.

not much to say it is match for the price what you paid. hotel is closer to airport and far from city. but be ware of pick pocket in area. vietnam is full of thugs, thieves and criminals

very good value for money and a really friendly staff. they were so helpful.
the only objection would be that close to the hotel there's a kind of karaoke so if you want to sleep before midnight it can be noisy(it was saturday, so i'm not sure if also happens in a weekday).

Stayed at Thien Vu for 3 daya and I liked that it was very near the airport. THe hotel was pretty clean and it had all the basic amenities for a solo traveller like me although the hot water was not always so hot.
