awesome place to stay, cheap taxi from airport, nice clean room. they even brought up pineapple juice/smoothie couple mins after when arrived.
they stayed up late for us, and got up for a taxi early.
very good.

Got more than I paid for

since i would be in hcm only 6hrs after my 1am arrival (was leaving for cat tien park at 7am), i looked for a cheap hotel near the airport, and this was the cheapest. for the price i paid, i expected a bug-infested room on the seedy side. but surprisingly, this hotel was clean and decent. the staff was efficient, despite the fact that i checked in at an ungodly hour. i was hot and tired from my flight, and the welcome drink--a pineapple smoothie--was refreshing. that i didn't expect it was a bonus. overall, my expectations were low, so i was blown away.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is no elevator, so request a room on the lower floors if you have lots of bags. But otherwise, the staff will be there to help you carry your bags. Also, if you have a problem communicating to the staff, ask for the hotel manager. He speaks good English.

we took this little hotel off agoda's list, and it seemed just what we wanted in between flights, and that's exactly how it panned out. there is free internet there, and would you believe a small gym for a few workouts. i am very happy to give it a high point score overall.
Restaurant Tip:
Down the laneway and to the left and walk about 150 metres, and there is the Lucky 8 Restaurant. A beautiful courtyard with hanging vines and other decorative plants. The food is very reasonable and so delicious. Thoroughly recommend this place.It was the highlight of the stopover.

We stayed twice at this hotel on our trip to Vietnam. Its very close to the airport,so great if you get in late at night or have an early morning flight. The owners are great, and couldnt do enough for us. We had a late flight the day we were leaving and they happily stored our bags for us for the day and then gave us back our room for free when we returned in the evening to grab a shower and freshen up. They also gave us free drinks. We would definitly stay here again, you are a bit out of the city but taxis are plentiful and cheap.

I truly enjoyed this hotel off the beaten path. Although, I would not have been able to find it on my own and I am sure a taxi driver would have driven in circles multiple times, it was excellent to have the owner pick me up at the airport to assure my safe arrival. Cost was minimal for transportation (most likely less than a taxi). The staff was soo accomodating and eager to help us whenever they could. I tipped them well. Overall, I paid more in tips than the cost of the hotel!! :)and I would be happy to do it again. it is quaint, not fancy yet not ghetto, but at a dirt cheap price. Restaurants were walking distance so going out for food at night was great. I definitely recommend this hotel for ANYONE on a budget!!

Convenient Stop When Flying from HCMC Airport

my husband and i decided to stay at this hotel as we were arriving late in to hcmc airport and flying out the next morning from the same airport so we wanted a convenient base for the night. we picked this place because of the reviews and it was a great little stop-over. the staff were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast the next day was very tasty (there is an additional charge for this). the room didn't have a window but you couldn't expect that for the price. otherwise there was air-con and the bed was comfy. i would recommend this hotel for a cheap and cheerful stay but not as a base to explore the city.

Very friendly even in the middle of the night!

Arrived 2 1/2 hours late from our night flight and everyone was up to check us in and greet us. Rooms clean but dated. Same poor people were up and about when we checked out for our early morning flight a few hours later. For this price range, it was excellent. I would definately recommend them to anyone wanting a cheap airport hotel. Oh we stayed on the first floor and there was no lift but not a problem as we only made the trip up and down once!
