Great location and service with a smile
The staff here is very nice and accommodating and those at the front desk speak English. Special requests were met with a smile

This hotel is a good value for money option in the backpacker district,The room was comfortable but basic with cable TV and a firm bed.
The location is the main attribute though. On the block there are a number of bars and restaurants, with several of the bars still open around 4am. Across the road is a park area that runs all the way down to Ben Thanh Market, which is about a 15-20 minute walk away. In the evenings the park is packed with locals social life, exercising and playing games.
Nightlife Tip:
The location is good, very central. The hotel have a good money exchange service as well as an atm so you do not need to go out looking for either. I would recommend this for a few nights

Minuscule rooms, but good enough

the service was really good apart from the fiasco wherein they were supposed to pick us up in the air port but the receptionist "forgot." apart from that somewhat major snafu, the staff was pretty police and effective.
the rooms were extremely small, it's no way close to their advertised square meterage. but it's walking distance to the market and the street food right next to it is the best i had in the entire city.

i really enjoyed the stay at vien dong hotel for three reasons.
1. good location. it is situated right alongside the pham ngu lao st.which is the hub of many backpackers. it was also really easy to find.
2. very clean. the bathroom and bed were very comfortable to use.
3. breakfast was good. it was a buffet style breakfast. there were many selections from vietnamese pho to western style cuisines. there were many fruits too. the staffs at the restaurants were very friendly and helpful too.
so overall, i really enjoyed the stay at vien dong hotel. next time i visit hcmc, i would stay there again.

this is the third and the best hotel we have stayed in during our 4 day vietnam trip. it's near pubs and shopping area. the room is recently renovated, so it's clean and all the equipments function well. price is reasonable. i will definitely choose this hotel if i visit hcm city again. recommend it to all

Best Agoda Bargain for three Stars hotel

This is my third stay at this hotel within two months. Agoda really has arranged a very good deal for travellers. The hotel is in good location, clean and relatively very cheap. Of course one can save a few dollars by staying in another three stars hotel, but the breakfast itself will cancel off the difference.

whenever i travel to hcm , i will stay here. it is like back home. the staffs remember you and greet you with happy smile. and the location is best for vegetarian like me. they are vegetarian restaurants nearby.very convenience.
but would like to see vegetarian food for breakfast.
