The traffic is horrendous. Got knocked down by one of the many scooters on the road, while crossing the pedestrian crossing!!. Too many motor bikes and they come from all directions. They don't seem to care about the traffic lights. Found difficulty walking on the streets due to the filth and clutter.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the Sinh cafe for day trips away from HCMC, as there is not much to see in the city. Tour to the Mekong is a must and value for money. The Sinh cafe is only a block away on de Tham Street and tours start at 8 am. So, it's good to have breakfast at the hotel and then catch the local tours.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with what I paid for, I ended up going to another hotel down the street which was more basic but had the same features, such as free breakfast and Internet. And it was much cheaper. The staff were very helpful.

My inside room was very quiet and the air conditioner worked great. You could not watch TV from the couch, and when sitting on the bed leaning against the wall (to watch TV) the bed would roll away from the wall because it was on wheels. But no big problems and I would stay there again.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great location for tourists; around the corner from many day-trip booking agencies, small grocery, and numerous eating places; easy walk to Ben Thanh Market.
