as many people have stated we were encouraged to upgrade to executive suite for an extra $20 aus..we were very pleased with our spacious suite with expansive balcony and very comfortable huge bed with big fresh pillows.

the free extras with the exective floor made it excellent value for money.we utilised the happy hour (2 hrs) free and an excellent with varied and tasty nibbles,cheeses,fruit and french wines.the breakfast was elegant and served in the smaller dining area was quiet and relaxing.there are a few dining options in the hotel and the adjacent shopping centre is full of wonderfull shopping options.we would and have recommended this hotel to all our friends and would stay there again..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
try to be in saigon during chinese new year,as we were last trip.amazing floral beautification of the city in a way we dont see in the west.

I've been offered upgrade room to executive floor with additional charge only $20++ per night. It's really worth,, have access to executive lounge with free f&b incl wine, free laundry, room internet service and late check out till 4pm. Due my flight at 8pm, it's so helpful to make us fresh going to airport

Windsor Plaza Hotel
Hotel staff is very friendly and services excellent (Internet, gym, pool, sauna etc.) Rooms are comfy and spaceous and view from the roof floor is propably one of the best in Ho Chi Minh . Breakfast was great and variable. Hotel also offers free shuttle service from the hotel to city center many times in a day which is very convenient.

The Windsor Plaza hotel is a good choice for people who seek for excellent services and high-class facilities. Even though the hotel is not located in the city center, it is very easy to reach the main attractions by free shuttle service. There is also great pagodas near the hotel that are worth of seeing. We loved the breakfast, gym and the pool on the roof floor. Only minus goes for the America discotheque on the 3rd floor, hotel should really do something for their Audio systems because the noise was terrible.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time for business.I stayed at the Executive floor. The staff at the executive lounge is very friendly and polite. All of them are very knowledgeable. As I stayed at the executive floor, check in room was carried out at Level 24.Very easy and speedy.No queue at all. This hotel is very near to the largest wholesale market. Very good location.

Rooms where very spacious nicely furnished and clean. THe hotel is right next to the Antong Market in Chinatown which you will be able to shop at the departmental store which prices are rather reasonable. The pool and the gym is located at the roof time with basis equipments. I personally enjoyed the breadfast (Chinese and international food) which has been included in the package.

Overall the stay was good. when I checked in, they kept trying to upsell me into the executive floor which I declined. They ended up giving me a room that was terrible. It was a small, warn down room with a small bed and tile floors. It was definately not a comperable room that was representative of the website photos. After complaining to the manager for over 15 minutes, and waiting for a couple of hours, they assigned me to a nice room. Turns out, they were sold out of the Deluxe room that I booked. I see this as poor management when they put me through all this hassle. They could have delighted me by giving me a complimentary room upgrade upon initial check in.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not accept the room if it is not similiar to the photos.

The lobby is not on ground floor, a bit confusing to arrange a meeting point. The hotel use keycard to access the floor your room is on, so if you plan to get to your friend's room on another floor, just forget it. Business lounge is quite nice, not many people and quiet enough to sit down and have some meeting.

had an ok time staying here, i realised there are cheaper & better hotels closer to the cbd of ho chi minh, would recommend it to ppl who want to stay around district 5 but not for shoppers or diners

Hotel was well located and great breakfasts, and lots of shopping close by

Loved this Hotel. Great roof top drinks in the evening and lovely rooms. Great location and amazing selection for breakfast. Lots of shopping close by, and also within the hotel.Very helpful staff and restaurant open 24 hours helped with time difference.Tour desk made great suggestions for places to visit.Will recommend this hotel to my friends.
