Terrible, shocking, horrifying! Would not recommend to my worst enemy! Staff could not understand a word of English. Cats running around main dining room. Pool water was hot. No one at the bar to get a drink from. Ran out of beach towels and didn't give us anything in replacement! Wanted to leave straight away, except we couldn't explain a thing to staff about wanting to leave. Mosquito infested rooms that leaked water because the air cons had frozen up and stopped working!!! Ants all through bathrooms! Only good thing, gardens were lovely! Not worth paying a cent to go here!

Nice relaxing place to stay

We booked an ocean view room which was only a short walk to the beach and swimming pool. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The only drawback was the lack of dining options at the resort but there are restaurants just across the road and it's only a short taxi ride into town.

This hotel is outside the city center, but they run a regular free shuttle into town throughout the day, which was wonderful. Hotel has its own section of nice beach. They have one new, very nice pool and are currently putting in another. The room was good enough, but you are paying for the beachfront. The room was dank and smelled of mildew, was very dark and in need of remodeling.
Travel tip:
Rent a motorbike in town as it is cheaper than renting from the hotel. The town in wonderful to walk around, especially by the river. Eat some Cao Lau!!! Its a delicious noodle dish found only in Hoi An.

I have been going to this budget 4 star for few years because of the fair price, good empty beech and clean sea, but the place desperately needed room renovation and English speaking staff. When I was there last week they finally started to renovate the rooms and were building new swimming pool. I do not expect them to finish until June July 2013. Please ask them to confirm that they completed the renovation and restored the beach side that is now storage for building materials if this is concern to you.
Restaurant Tip:
Just outside the hotel there are number of good cheap restaurants (no stars!) offering local specialties and sea food. I recommend Huong Viet opposite Palm Garden. Mob: 01287615918. I have been to this place many times for the past 3 years - Good English and never disappointed with the food.

Our stay was a going to be a wasted vacation, until we managed to find another hotel to stay at
Pros:
- Next to the beach
- Low cost
- Generally friendly staff
Cons:
- Room not as advertised. Even they said that the picture in Agoda is not for the room (Superior Ocean View); Also, the size of the room is not 40 sqm as described
- Completely deserted. I cannot understand why we were the only! people staying at this 100+ room resort, when the resorts next door were almost completely booked
- In repair. Swimming pool in repair, beachfront in repair, water outages, hot water outages.
We only stayed one night (though we had booked 7) and decided to go to the next door resort at double the price (I did not want to ruin our Christmas here)

Not a charming boutique hotel but efficient and clean. V high standard rooms. Basic catering, no spa, no itinerary so fine if you are not planning on spending all day in the resort

The hotel is by the beach. It is a short ride to the town of hoi an. However the hotel must have been nbuilt as a corporate get away as there were only 10 people staying there. Breakfast is basic Asia fair good but plain. Staff have limited English but if you wanted an English speaking experience you would have stayed home. However some staff do speak enough English to get what you want Ns staff try to please.
In all not bad for the value

this hotel is falling apart, has the world's worst breakfast, and is staffed by some of the most incompetent however, it also has the best value for the money as the beach front rooms are the best option in all of cua dai!
