A Surprise find with great staff.
Conveniently located to Old Town in Hoi An, Friendly staff who addresses you by first name, clean sheets and lots of common sense in room amenities.
9.7
We are pleasantly surprise with the room when we arrived in the hotel late at night. Sammy, the front desk lady welcomed us with her biggest smile. There was the couple swan on the bed and fruits in the fridge welcoming us. The breakfast spread was good. The staff in the hotel provided us with clear directions to move aroud Hoi An and since the hotel is located near Hoi An old town, we had no worries about staying out late.

Restaurant Tip:
Got to Bamboo Buddha - a bit upmarket, but definitely worth it.

The friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in!!!
Amazingly personal service from the staff...in a great location!
8.7
Can't fault the place for the friendly, attentive staff. However, in terms of the guests, there lacked a bit of atmosphere and although there are some communal areas they aren't used much and everyone seems to keep themselves to themselves. If you're ok with that then it;s fine but if you're hoping to met other travelers then despite the fantastice staff and location this isn't the place for you!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
An Bang beach at the end of the day...around 5pm!! All the locals come out to the beach to relax at the end of the day...the place is heaving with families swimming and cooking food on portable stoves...it's a fab way to chill out with a beer, people watch and see the sunset on an amazing beach!

Most friendly and unusual
9.3
I have stayed in about 50+ hotels in Asia but the staff at Hau Au takes the price as the most friendly and serviceminded people I have ever met. The rooms (we tried 2) are very cosy with mosqitonet and free computer. Yes, computer in each room ...
The breakfast is fine with eggstation and all you need. Small pool to cool of.
Only small thing against is the small football-field next to Hai Au where they sometimes start very early with football and music in their speakers.
All in all: The receptiongirls at Hai Au is the best.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For suits and dresses go to Le Loi street no. 66. A firstclass suit for 85 USD.
Stay away from Le Loi street no. 15. She is expensive and will not fit your clothe once you have paid ...

Very friendly hotel staff and good location
Friendly hotel staff, close to old town
7.7
The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a quick walk to the old city. Our room was large and clean, although the hotel is a bit dated and perhaps in need of a renovation.

Great location and lovely rooms
Great location, close to shopping restaurants and sights, friendly staff
10
the staff were exceptionally friendly, lovely and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. thank you!
unfortunately we a couple of very noisy days during our stay as there was an extended funeral next door with loud noise and music as well as a children's sporting event across the road and renovations in the room next door (though the renovations was kept to decent hours).
other than that - the room was beautiful, wifi was fast, breakfast in their restaurant was excellent and the staff were fantastic.
we would stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.
Shopping Tip:
There are lots of very talented tailors in Hoi An to get your own tailored outfits made to your requirements.

Best hotel I could ask for
Clean, well-staffed, helpful, great facilities
9.7
I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this hotel. The staffs really go out of their way to ensure that you are well taken care of and your needs are met. My friend and I were surprised that our room was so spacious and even came with our very own computer unit with free wifi access.
One thing worth mentioning is that I left behind a small bottle of essential oil in my room after checking out. Having only realised this when I was in my Danang hotel the night after checking out, I called Hai Au Hotel, and the staff offered to check the room again and promised to deliver the bottle to my Danang hotel (about 45 minutes drive away), which they did by 11am the next morning! Their service really blew my mind.
Although the hotel is not smack in the middle of Hoi An town area where all the tourists visit, it is definitely within walking distance and all the pros I mentioned above outweighs this little con. I will definitely return to Hai Au when I visit Hoi An again.

Friendly Staff with warm welcome
7
We received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. During check in, the staff personally walked us to the room and explain the facilities that they have in the room. Complimentary fruit is inside the fridge.
After keeping our luggage in the hotel room, we proceed to the counter where the staff give a brief description about Hoi An town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Buy a voucher at VND 90,000 per coupon where you can visit 5 of the 18 sight seeing places.
