Hoi An Restaurant
Thanks to its history, Hoi An has evolved its own unique cuisine, a delicious blend of Chinese, Japanese and old Vietnamese influences. Some of the best examples of these local specialities are served at the Hoi An Restaurant. The Restaurant is situated in a verdant garden setting inside the Hoian Hotel. Inside, it is reminiscent of a warm and cosy Paris Bistro, and the friendly, highly professional staff specialize in making guests feel right at home. The Restaurant’s highly experienced chef is a master of all the other Hoian favorites, and also offers a wide choice of other Asian and European dishes .

Garden Restaurant - Traditional Music Restaurant
If requested, guests can enjoy Quang Nam folk songs and folk dances, traditional concert, presentations of traditional musical instruments performed by Hoian people.

Massive resort style hotel room was good size with modern facilities reception staff english good and fluent pool average size but great to cool off day spa absolutely gorgeous, worth the splurge!!

no elevator - stairs only so not to good in the hot weather or if tired and on the upper levels. not enough seating at buffet breakfast for the hotel capacity.

The hotel is massive. It is alot larger than I expected from photos/reviews I'd seen. The location is great. Walking distance to everything. There hotel complex is made up of a few buildings - we stayed in the front/main building which was good as when it rained we never got wet walking to different areas of the hotel - foyer/reception, breakfast, spa etc. I would definately stay here again. A little on the expensive side but it is a good location and comfortable facilities both in the rooms and hotel. The buffet breakfast variety is minimal, it seemed every day to deteriorate variety wise and freshness. You will always find something to eat, but not the best. Get out and about as the town has so much to offer food wise!

Swimming Pool Location

Large hotel with slightly impersonal feel

We booked this hotel - it was certainly not expensive through agoda. The location is excellent - an easy walk to the old town of Hoi An. Very cheap laundry nearby - 5 items for a US dollar. Excellent pool - lovely after a hot and humid day in town. Rather a large and impersonel hotel but clean and had good sized rooms. All in all a good choice in this price range.

Restaurant Tip : Cargo Club in town - book to get on balcony. Excellent food and value

Clean facilities: bedrooms and grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is good.

Some of the staff at the desk were not overly helpful.

My friend and I stayed at the Hoi An Hotel during the recent typhoon Ketsana. The hotel was not particularly informative about the typhoon situation. Guests were wanting specific information; however, there was no official information or public notices from the hotel. This made it difficult to try to understand what was going on during the typhoon. On the day of the typhoon the dining room was very congested and it was difficult to get a table and the menu was very limited. Whilst I understand that it was hard to organise fresh food, I wonder why the hotel did not organise plenty of food before the typhoon hit. Also, the basic menu they had was very expensive. I know the hotel staff did the best job they could under the difficult circumstances (no power, no phones, no internet) more information on notice boards would have been very helpful to guests.

Shopping Tip : Whilst Hoi An has many tailors, it is certainly worth shopping around for best quality and best prices. If you spend a little time doing this, you will be far more satisfied.
