The Hoi An Hotel is well located in the city centre and walking distance to nearby shops/restaurants. The hotel is classified as a 4* however I will probably rate it 3* overall. the rooms are slightly dated. However the hotel pool is superb and deserves a special mention.

the location. It is near to the center and yet, there is a lovely green aerea with a nice pool.

I cannot find real weaknesses, relevant to the price. could be, that you might get a room that is not too quiet, but not real noisy. If you like beach vaccations, you would choose another hotel of course.

when we arrived, we were surprized about the elegant appearance of the whole layout.

Shopping Tip : le loi 34: restaurant good food, clean. brothers cafe: good food, wonderful ambience, high price, be careful with tailored dresses, we were not always satisfied, the fabrics often not our taste.

great location. nice pool. large rooms.

horrible service. very poor breakfast. problems with air conditioning.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. There are some positives: The hotel is located very close to the old city so it is a very short walk to the beautiful town. The pool is nice and very relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. On the other hand the service is not existent, the breakfast is the worst we had in our 3 weeks in Vietnam (e.g., undrinkable orange juice, deserted egg station). Rooms are large but very basic, a bit dirty and the air conditioning did not really work. Conclusion: 2 star hotel at a 4 star location.

Travel tip : do not eat breakfast at the hotel - go to one of the cute cafes/restaurants in the old city.
