The restaurant let the hotel down. The rooms were spotless and looked beautiful but the bed and the chairs were so hard. The staff happily put some padding on the mattress for us.
- Travel tip : Taxi is only $2.00 to the town or you can use the hotel shuttle bus which runs hourly. Cyclos are a great way to travel around town and relatively cheap.

We also booked a day spa treatment package that was advertised to run for 3hrs and 40mins - it finished over 1 early. More variety in the breakfast buffet would be nice.

In case you are with younger kids, try to get a room on the ground floor: we enjoyed a lot sitting on our balcony having our three-year-old running around!
