Probably the nicest staff of any hotel I've stayed in asia so far. Beautiful, quiet location on the river.

Three kilometres from Hoi An, but only a $3 taxi ride. Actually think it's nicer here than staying in the village.

I loved this hotel. The views were wonderful, the rooms were great and the staff fantastic. They couldn't do enough for you. Only a short ten minute walk to the beach and a ten minute ($3) taxi ride into Hoi An. I plan on returning to this hotel soon and will probably stay for a few weeks.

Restaurant Tip : Mango mango and the Mango Room are two great restaurants in the village. Also the food at stall number 9 on the beach is great.

good location, very sweet staff, breakfast is good enough, bikes available, beautiful decor

thin walls (noisy), caters to tour groups, management not trustworthy

My stay at the Indochine was a mixed experience. While the staff was very sweet, the management did cause distress. The bike (very old bike) that the hotel lent to me was stolen at the beach. I had not been shown how to lock the bike, nor told where to safely park it. The manager wanted money for a new bike and would not return my passport to me. I had to offer a workable solution (pay for 1/2 of a used bike), which he did not accept until I had the US Embassy become involved. It took hours of negotiating. It was a very bad feeling to have my passport kept from me. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel, although the staff is very sweet and the location is fine.

Nice garden to relax in Nice rooms and balcony Free bikes Shuttle bus to town a few times a day

A bit to far out of town Need some relexing chairs on the garden terrace

The Indochine was nice hotel but ready for the refit which has begun and will continue till May It is close to the beach but about a 20min bike ride to town. This was fine with free bike use but the heat was extreme and not good weather for bike riding. The shuttle bus operated 4 times a day so that helped. It was very nice to eat breakfast on the terrace beside the river but breakfast varied in quality depending on how many people were staying there - buffet offered when there were groups in but limited choice it there were not. We watched the beginning of a swimming pool construction which will add greatly to the hotel amenities. We found it a very relaxing place to stay.

Restaurant Tip : Mango room was a good place to eat for a better quality meal and the outside market style dining near the river where Mr Son, Mr Kim, Miss Hay etc had a line of tables each and provided good meals very inexpensively

Excellent customer service, very clean and bright rooms, spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

None

This was truly a wonderful hotel experience. In fact, we extended our stay for a couple days because we enjoyed it so much. We reserved the river view suite which afforded nice views of the river, the rice paddies, and even the Cham Islands on a clear day. The room itself was very clean with two king beds (with flower petals laid out on the beds in intricate designs) and a separate dining/study area. On International Women's Day, staff provided my girlfriend with a fruit basket and flowers. Moreover, staff was always available and very friendly throughout our stay. Use of computers in the lobby is free. Cua Dai beach is only a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel and there is much to see in the surrounding countryside. Frankly, I thought the town of Hoi An itself was a bit touristy and preferred the Indochine's location. Shuttle buses to town are available throughout the day. Nice breakfast along the river each morning. I will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Feature Tip : Take a walk around the rooftop patio (which apparently used to be a restaurant and bar) and check out the views of the surrounding area. Also, there's a great vegetarian restaurant just across the bridge as you're heading toward Cua Dai beach (immediately on your right after crossing the bridge).

The outside panaromic landscape is very nice, especially in the morning with the mountain, river and greens come together

The staff tried their best to speak in English. They can do better to assist in arranging what to see around the town. Not to tourism-minded.

Too quiet. Guess we were the only guest there. Whenever we are back to the hotel, the staff will switch on the lobby lights...guess they try to save electricity. Poor lighting along the passageway...felt like you in a haunted hotel. No doubt it is a nice and clean hotel, they could have done better to greet and provide better customer service.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The bridge near the hotel has a nice view of the fisherman in boats with the sun rising. Take a bicycle and ride up there with your camera at 8am.

Beautiful traditional hotel with a gorgeous view of the river and farms.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take one of the free push bikes and get out and about around the small roads and see the real Vietnam. All flat ground and easy going.

Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, very good breakfast in the garden by the River.

The rooms above the main entrance are lärmanfällig because many buses are often very early, and taxis are often very late. Blkone are unfortunately very narrow and the rooms a little tight.

Dear employees, we have very long AGODA the hotel in Hoi An also booked and paid for, with an airport transfer! After several requests for agoda, we also confirmed .... an additional free night .... dinner .... and a Aitporttransfer! Following our request in the hotel we bekamne then a dinner - very good food on the last night we had a conversation with the employees on the transfer the next day after Da Nang. Was then after some back and forth confirmed! The next morning, but was told us ... no, we do not have a paid transfer !?!?!? Therefore, the hotel of us $ 19 for the transfer, which we otherwise have remained as to the reception staff to pay! We want to stress that we have to transfer a few months ago to have paid AGODA! Agoda We would ask that the hotel management notified. Awaiting your esteemed reply, we remain Yours sincerely, Fam Hunacek Villach / Austria rhunacek@hotmail.com
