We had a wonderful time here. As soon as we arrived we were invited to a free dinner to get to know the other travellers. We had a lovely big room for three nights and for the last, due to my booking bungle, a big bungalow. All was very neat and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Staff delightful, especially Ruby. Free bikes to borrow whenever we wanted. Have to return with kids!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do the walking Taste Tour with Aussie Neville. It is dong per person but you get six hours of food and explanations. The front desk will help you!

this is nice and large hotel in hoi ann. the accommodations were spacious and had a cool outdoor bathroom/shower. the hotel is kind of off the beaten path; it was kind of far from the old part of town (hoi ann). but the hotel does offer free bike rentals. we didn't have a problem getting into town and back. i did pass the hotel onetime riding back; sign is kind of small in front of hotel. the breakfast was just ok; my omelet was overcooked and a little greasy. overall it was a nice place and staff were helpful.

Nice bungalow, but nothing special...

We booked this hotel because of high rating on agoda, and in a result regret about it. Bungalow for this price is really luck, but furniture is old, breakfast is pure, just fresh juices were ok. Location is good if you can use the bicycle, they are for free in the hotel, but be careful, some of the bicycles are almost broken.
This money is only for big rooms, I would better prefer smaller room, but good breakfast and convenient location.

we stayed at orchid garden for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon travels in vietnam.
we were greeted by very friendly staff, who made us feel really welcome. the garden villa room was very spacious, well decorated with the orchid theme continued in the photographs on the walls.
the breakfasts were great, cooked in front of our eyes in the main house; and the free bikes are useful as the walk to town is about 20 mins.
and the orchid garden is really beautiful, especially great for taking photos!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We did a cooking course at Red Bridge Cooking School, highly recommended.

We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived here. The rooms were comfortable (we weren't in a bungalow). Breakfast was pretty good - fresh juice, fruit platter and able to order eggs/bread, etc. Lovely crusty baguettes. It was a quiet and relaxing place and if the weather was better we would have made more use of the pool.
They were happy to make recommendations on restaurants, tailors etc and organise tours though all we did was get them to organise our car to Hue though they suggested this incorporate sightseeing which was a great idea.
Free bikes were very handy - only a short ride into the centre of Hoi An.
I would be happy to recommend this homestay however bear in mind it is not a hotel so you won't receive the same level of service.
A nice touch - one one evening (our last) they invited all guests for dinner - it was a lovely meal and the staff were all very happy/excited to put it on for us.
Only bad points - no tissues in room, towels not always replenished.
We were travelling with a toddler and the cot they provided was the best out of all the hotels stayed in so far.
Laundry costs were good - per kg rather than per item like hotels (ie same as going to somewhere on the street but easier).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We would highly recommend the Green Bamboo Cooking School (Van's) if you want to do a cooking class. Highhlight of my trip in Vietnam.

we loved our stay here! we stayed in room 2 which was very large for the two of us and made our stay very comfortable as we were able to spread out and not be stuck in one room. it had a kitchenette for any cooking, but as food is inexpensive in hoi an we didn't bother. free use of bicycles made seeing the sites so easy and pleasant, we would certainly recommend for others to stay here! we only wish the weather was better so we could have gone for a dip in the pool!
Hotel Feature Tip:
ask the hotel to arrange a pick up from the airport in da nang, at 15 usd it was very much worth it! we also booked private guides thru the hotel who were excellent!

We spent 5 days and absolutely love it. The owner cooked and invited us for Christmas dinner with other guests (no charge).
The staffs are friendly and very helpful, they recommended us places to go for lunch and dinner, we've tried them all and they're really good such as: morning glory restaurant, cargo cafe, etc...
The breakfast is amazing and I love the fresh passionfruit juice and cripsy baguette with the omlette.
It's a nice place to stay, it's so homey and great location!
I will definetly go back.
