We loved our stay, would recommend, beds and pillows are not great ,We stayed on a bungalow was huge, we checked out the deluxe rooms are they were lovely, would def recommend them,but the staff are fabulous, so helpful.We had a group dinner that was amazing food was awesome and heaps of it and we could sit around talking to other guests about our travels.We borrowed bikes cycled to beach, ate and had a drink at riverside cafe Son was lovely.Worth a visit during day and night to get both views.
Restaurant Tip:
take advantage of happy hour at most bars, Mango rooms worth a visit sit upstairs on balcony in the evening watch Hoi An go by

The double that I booked was large and beautifully decorated. Such a surprise to me! We loved the property so much with all the orchids and flowers most of the time we stayed on site and swam in the swimming pool. Breakfast was great with made to order meals, including fruit shake made from real fruits.
The owners even surprised everyone staying on the property with a free home cooked meal of local food. That was so thoughtful and fantastic. She even gave one of the girls having a birthday beautiful flowers.
Located half way between town and the beach. Both can be easily gotten by the bicycles lent out by the hotel. We loved our stay here! Perfect for families as if you rent one of their villas, it comes with a full kitchen and large living room area. Plenty big for a family of four or six. There is construction going on as they are adding on quite a few more villas. But the noise did not bother us.
Restaurant Tip:
If you don't feel like going to town for dinner, turn right out of property and there are some restaurants 200 meters away. The middle one Nguyen Cafe is quite good.

Wonderful homestay

we arrived at orchid garden homestay to be greeted by a friendly lady who introduced herself as mimi. throughout our stay, she and the other staff were absolutely attentive to our needs and were always smiling. mimi's orientation of our location really helped a lot as we were quite lost on our first day. she was also helpful in recommending places of interest, tailors, good food to visit.
on the last night of our stay, the gracious lady owner ms phuong invited all the guests of the homestay for a sumptuous dinner of homecooked vietnamese food. the food was great! i thought it was a very nice touch by the homestay to do so. on one of the days, the staff bought flowers for a guest whose birthday was on that day. this shows the attention to detail which i felt was very commendable.
the atmosphere of the homestay was absolutely wonderful. the only complaint (if i were to even call it a complaint) was that the homestay was undergoing expansion, thus some construction was going on and hence it was noisy and dusty all round. but still, the staff still tried their best to attend to our needs. i shouldn't fault the homestay for that.
the location of the homestay is almost equidistant from the charming old town of hoi an as well as the beautiful white sandy beach of cua dai beach. it only takes a relaxing 15-20 minutes of bicycle ride to reach either.
we booked the double room and it was really spotless. there was a small balcony of sorts to sit outside and chill. the sheets were pure white and there were no stains whatsoever. there was also no odour from the sheets. we have no complaints at all in this respect. i would recommend to spend a little more to get the bungalow. i believe it would be worth it.
we were there during the off season and hence the room prices were half the original prices. this makes an already value for money deal even more so. it was worth every cent!
all in all, my girlfriend and i concluded that it was indeed a very wonderful stay.

Good hotel but currently construction site

After two month travelling in Asia we wanted to relex a little bit in Hoi An, swimming and reading. Unfortuantly the two neighbours of this hotel are currently construction sites. Starting at about 8 am the noise was unacceptable for us. Moreover the workers of one neighbour looked into our bathroom (which is an outdoor room) so we could take a shower or use the toilet. We decided to cancel the remaining days and the staff was very friendly and reimbursed our money for the following nights.
We think that the construction will go on for e next couple of months.
Besides that we can say that our room was very spacious. The location is a little bit far from the center (that's true for most of the other hotels as well) but you can get a bicycle for free (it takes about ten minutes to the center). The pool is pretty small and there are only two desk chairs for all rooms.

Absolutely loved this home stay,the position between the beach and the old town. The bungalows were huge didn't expect to have so many rooms even two toilets, but the standout feature of this place are the staff particularly the two receptionists, nothing was to much trouble. Upon checkin they sit you down and give you a map and explain the dos and donts of the area. The free dinner they put one one night was also great, a good chance to meet the other guests and the food was lovely.

Lovely stay with welcoming staff

We arrived a bit earlier than a ckeck-in time and were offered to sit down, with a cool passionfruit juice arriving for us. The staff was fantastic, very helpfull. After the first night we were shifted to another room, which we didn't mind. Breakfast was great, location is about 2 km from the town and 2 km from the beach, which was a blessing. A small pool in the complex was just ideal to refresh after the long day out. The owner put a dinner for all of his guests, with a great food offered, it was more like a big family than a hotel. Thank you Mr and Mrs Fung, thank you Mimi (great sense of humour), Ruby and all the other stuff who made our stay pleasurable! We would like to visit Hoi An again and would choose this accommodation again.
Travel tip:
We made some shoes while in Hoi An - do not go to Bebe (also a tailor place) for shoes! Also, everybody tries to rip you off, so you need to bargain for things you buy.

with over 1000 orchids and many other plants and flowers, the gardens are lovely and the swimming pool a great place to cool down after a hot day. the staff are great and the rooms (particularly bungalows) are great. we have now stayed here twice and would not consider any other place for a future stay in hoi an.

Its worth to stay there longer
It takes quite long way from resort to the hoi an central area, however resort is comfortable, peaceful and staff are very friendly and kindly. And they are willing to give us suggestions,for example buying, eating, sightseeing etc.
Breakfast is ok, coffee, juices, pancake, noodles, baguette, all are good and tasty
Our room is clean and big,have a quite big terrace, can view nearby scenery.
It gives me a home feeling every time I got back hotel, I definitely will go there again.
