Great location but low water pressure in bathroom

me and my friends stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our visit to hoi an (17/4-19/4). the hotel location is great. few minutes of walking will get you to hoi an old town for sightseeing (eg. japanese bridge) and a lot of nice restaurant can be found there (eg. morning glory, cargo).
during night time, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of both side of the river bank decorated with lantern.

Great hotel!

had a great stay at pho hoi - the staff were all really friendly and our room was very comfortable. the pool was fantastic for hot afternoons after shopping all morning! it's a good location, straight across the river, turn left and you're in the markets. 5 - 10 mins walk from old town.
Hotel Feature Tip:
massages and beauty services at the hotel were expensive and not that great. laundry is incredibly expensive - we took ours about 10m outside the hotel and paid only per kilo.

Nice location but slightly old

Spacious room for 3. A little old and Wifi can't be detected in our room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
can rent a bicycle to go around the small old town of Hoi An. excellent place!

Great location and pleasant rooms

We had two days at the Pho Hoi riverside hotel and really enjoyed it. The staff were very pleasant, the rooms clean and the location, just by the river and on the other side of the bridge from the old town, was ideal. The price was also very reasonable, given that it included breakfast (which was passable) and we had a river view in a seperate bungalow.
Travel tip:
rent your bikes from the very nice old lady at the front of the hotel. Make sure you visit the older part of town across from the main old town, where it is a very local scene and families are only too pleased to talk to you.
cycle out to the beach and have a whole day there. Local beer at 4,000 a glass is very palatable.
Do the pub quiz across the river at the two dragons on a Wednesday night.

Friendly staff, great location

the friendly, helpful staff checked us in ... we were a day late due to a delayed jetstar flight, however the staff carried the night over for us which was really nice. the room we were in was one of the cheaper ones ... it was clean and nice but a few things didn't work - bathroom light, air on was noisy wifi was intermittent and the kettle electrocuted me (mildly!).
the beds were quite hard, so if you're a soft bed type the more expensive rooms may have better mattresses?
the breakfast was decent and the pool was nice. sitting by the river in the afternoon with a beer was quite relaxing.
Restaurant Tip:
We ate at Shree Ganesh and it was friggin delicious.

The whole place was run down, it was still satisfactory but disappointing. So don't expect great things.They also ran out of breakfast foods at 9am (meant to go till 10am).
