Great location 3 minute walk to the beach.
Breakfast good, plenty to choose from, nice setting by pool and river.

hotel was clean, staff helpful, courtesy bus 5 times a day to hoi an and back. swimming at the beach refreshing after shopping in hoi an on humid, hot day. plenty of restaurants/cafes along beach. hotel a little tired but rooms comfortable.
Travel tip:
Better than staying in Hoi An.

excellent value hotel in cua dai, only 100m walk from the beach. the hotel beach area had free towels and loungers and was a great place to spend the day. the pool at the hotel was clean and of sufficient size. we had a ground floor pool view room and that gave direct access to the pool.
would stay here again.
Restaurant Tip:
Good restaurant up the road from the hotel near the bridge - Blue Wave - 45 Cua Dai Street - Family run with good food.

close location to restaurants and shops, shuttle bus to ancient town,

we enjoyed our stay, the breakfast did not provide huge choice but what was provided was adequate- omelettes were great. was a good size and especially good for children with shallow areas.
Shopping Tip:
Local shopping and restaurants were just as good as in town with less hassle

Good location close to beach

We had very small ants in our room. I asked at the front dest to do something with them. Next mornig I have found them at the baby food. When I went to complain at the front desk, the lady there told me "You know, the ants are everythere, you should keep it at the fridge..." It was the first hotel in Vietnam, in which this happened, neither we stayed also in some much cheaper.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nearby the beach and provide shuttle bus to the Hoi An.

Nice staff ...But run down hotel

Older hotel that has not been maintained well. Long way from the old quarter in town where most of the good places to eat are ( about 5 klm )Mostly for pushy rude locals with no manners. Food expensive . pool is very hot with no shade Not much good to say about this hotel at all. Stay somewhere else,

Got a big group? This is the place!
Large family suite, sleeps 7+. Pretty good breakfast, close to beach, nice pool and view, good service.

We had a nice stay at River Beach Resort. We were a family of three and were worried about the room size, but when we got there we were so suprised at how huge the suite was. It comes with two singles and a king, but roll away's can be added. Also had a huge garden tub in the master bath and very large balcony over looking the pool and grounds. Rooms were nice and quiet inside even with live entertainment below us. Beds were fairly comfortable, very nice for this region. Internet was a bit spotty, but usable for cheking your emails and such. Front desk and other staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the same daily but still good and hearty.

The River Beach Resort is located on the coast at Hoi An about four klms from the Old Town, the river view rooms have great views of the still working river,and are worth paying extra for.They have an arrangement with one of the ocean side restaurants to use their private beach area,prepare to be harassed by local venders at the beach.The food at these restaurants is over priced, especially the live seafood, but the view is great and if you want you can just have a drink and watch the ocean.
Restaurant Tip:
My Li accross from the hotel on the corner has good value for money and use the same seafood as the beach restaurants for a fraction of the price.

great location it was very easy to get around
the rooms were big, roomy well maitained and very clean. The grounds and the pool were also well looked after

our stay at river beach was so far our best in vietnam, we really have no complaints. the staff and facilities were all of a high standard, buffet breakfast a great choice. the dining room supervisor spoke very good english gave a lot of advice on the local area and was a great help her name was thuy van and another staff member of high quality was hoi, both are worth getting to know. will definately recommend this hotel...
