We remained there because we had paid for the 4 nights already. The hotel is sad, not clean, walls needed new paint. The doors didn't open. The safe box was broken, the roomkeeping service was not good. The restaurant was extremely expensive for the quality. There are other places in town that are much better for the same price.
Close to the beach.
The hotel is crumbling to pieces.
Beautiful, restful place

The River Beach Hotel was a welcome peaceful place to relax after travelling for many days. The beach that is steps away was beautiful. Don't miss either the sunrise or the sunset. Dinner on the beach by candle light is wonderful. The staff were very helpful in arranging ongoing travel and were always friendly and helpful.
Loved my room with a view of the river and the beautiful pool area. The balcony was great.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was very warm when I was there. An air conditioned space other than my room, the lobby or the dining room, would have been nice to have.
Enjoyable stay

Enjoyable stay with two children, visited the town several times on the free shuttle bus. Pool a bit small but not too bad. Very helpful and friendly staff.
- Travel tip : Tried several seafood restaurants opposite, good value and good food.
A nice place to stay

The shuttle from the train station is overpriced ($28), but the shuttle to the airport ($16) is reasonably priced.
Great getaway

Stay was a pleasant interlude after leaving Hanoi. The restaurant was excellent, the pool was refreshing, though a little cold once the sun went down. The hotel quite a way from downtown, but the bus service by the hotel was convenient enough. Make sure you walk down to the beach which is only minutes away. The shopping downtown is not to be missed.
Friendly staff, location near beach. Quiet at night.
Manager was a little unfriendly, unlike the staff. The sauna is not worth the time. It is made of pine and has resin running down the walls.
- Shopping Tip : Go next door to Luna's for any clothing you want made. Great work for a great price. The owner obviously knows her stuff and works really hard to make sure you are happy.
