if you are looking to stay by the beach and keep some spending money for the tailors of hoi an, this is the place for you. there's nothing glamorous about the sea and sand, but it gets the job done. it's a bit dated in looks, could probably use some tlc. the internet (free wifi in the rooms) is blazing fast and did i mention that it's a 3 minute walk to the beach?
if you are looking for glitze and glamour look elsewhere. if you are looking for a place to shack up, get a hot shower and a great breakfast...take a look.

this was a great base for our stay. being able to have a swim at a stunning beach before breakfast was a real highlight. but don't go expecting an international hotel, this is more no frills. it's cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. you'd easily pay a few hundred us for a beach front hotel, and we were more than happy to make this saving. we will return!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is no shuttle into the old town so you will need to get a taxi. Also, it's cheaper to get a taxi to the airport than to use any of the shuttles.

Clean, bright rooms near the beach - good option

everything was fine . but the swimming pool was very small, maybe only for about 5 people then its crowded. the staff were excellent and very helpful.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Its not close to the city, but its about 200m from the beach, if you want the beach, it might be good for you.

clean hotel in a perfect location

The hotel is located very close to the beach and is therefore a good alternative to the expensive resorts at the beach. however, the sea view was not that nice, it was more of a street and far away sea view. the atmosphere was not too cosy, the green colour made it look quite sterile.

Huge rooms at sea and sand hotel
Rooms are huge and well-equipped with basic facilities of a 3 star hotel. Free wifi accessible in rooms.

Hoi An is a nice place with beautiful beach, old streets, good food. We were there during the full-moon days and we had chance to see multi-coloured lanterns lighted at houses and floated on rivers. Nice walking streets at old quarters. Pity that there are not many entertainment services for kids here. Anyway, I enjoyed the vacation with family here.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Price is expensive compared to its facilities and services. Shuttle bus is provided during weekdays and Saturday only, not on Sunday. It is quite far from city downtown (5kms)

Good deal, great location

i went there with my girlfriend who speaks vietnamese so i can't say if the service is as good for everybody else, but we found the staff very nice and helpful. the hotel is literally one minute away from the beach, which is the best thing about it. electricity is a little bit weird (a mess of wires behind the little table by the bed where all the switches are...) and the coffee is just as bad as anywhere else, but otherwise breakfast is okay. i would recommend it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motorbike at the hotel and go see Carble Countain and China Beach. stop at Hoa's Place for a cheap beer near the beach.

Despite some of the somewhat negative reviews, I booked this hotel for a long weekend and it turned out to be great value for the money. The arranged airport transfer was there on time and cost cheaper than the 400k VND taxi. The room was clean and the staff was courteous and efficient. The location is great, just one block off of the beach, but there isn't much to do in the evening. Taxis were plentiful and a ride into the center of Hoi An costs about VND. There are some decent local restaurants around the hotel, plus a gorgeous beach, but not much else to do. The rooms were fairly basic, but who goes to the beach to sit around inside the hotel? The outdoor swimming pool is basically a kiddie-pool and the breakfast is not so great, but overall a good value for the money. I recommend it!
Restaurant Tip:
Cao Cao (grasshopper), was probably the best of the local restaurants near the hotel.
