This hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, which has its benefits if you want to be staying just outside the action. We enjoyed the location and strolled into town most days. There is also the mini bus shuttle service they offer which runs every hour and drops you in town (about 3 mins away by car).
The pool is great and the breakfast is reasonable based on the price of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean.
We would recommend this place to our family and friends.

We've stayed here previously(2 years ago) and enjoyed our stay this time just as much.Rooms are good,clean, staff friendly and a nice pool.
although slightly out away from the town centre, the shuttle bus is good and free and town is only a short walk which we did many times. the only negative thing I could say is the breakfast range was not as good as last stay.
Restaurant Tip:
the indian restaurant in Tran Hung Dao st has lovely food

Great service and decent location
Very friendly service, reception was very welcoming and helpful, the cleaners are extremely efficient, nice pool, decent rooms-good size, all the basics covered

happy to have stayed at the southern, as soon as i arrived the girls at reception were extremely sweet and helpful, their english is not superb but they do their very best. rooms are a decent size with air con, western bathroom, satellite tv and free wi fi and extremely comfortable bed. the hotel is slightly out of central hoi an, about 10 mins by bicycle. good value for money.

Luxurious rooms, but food under par

we loved the rooms, the pool, the spa and the staff. the hotel looks like a luxury resort! but the breakfast (included) is pretty meager, compared to the other hotels in the night range we stayed at in vietnam.
Shopping Tip:
Hue is the destination for tailored clothes. But everything in the old city is far more expensive than outside of it. Venture away from the shopping streets in the old city and you will save $$$! And you can take at least 50% of their prices!
