The pool was nice but unfortunately there were only 2 parasols and people took those before breakfast so the rest of us couldn't sit in the sun too long because the other sun chairs got way too hot. Breakfast was nice but it could have done with more choice, for example there was no bacon :( The hotel is quite well situated and there is a shuttle bus to the town, unfortunately not to the beach and it's quite far to walk. They do however have bikes you can hire but no helmets. The reception staff are very nice and helpful.

Couples United Kingdom, March 07, 2012	Great hotel with excellent breakfast Excellent buffet breakfast, something different each day, complimentary shuttle service, tour advice 9.3 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunflower Hotel in particular we were impressed with the buffet breakfast included in the room price that had something different each day. The hotel offered a shuttle bus to town if you didn't fancy the 15 minute walk to the Old Town. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, we arrived earlier than excepted and were able to check into our room at 9.30am. Bikes and Motorbikes are also available at a reasonable price. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: We travelled from Danang via local yellow bus, that you can flag down very near to the train station in Danang (the locals will help) for 30,000dong per person - don't pay any higher, be aware of taxi drivers trying to convince you that there are no bueses going to Hoi An.

Couples Netherlands, March 06, 2012	courtesy bus amazing buffet breakfast included 9 i cannot fault this hotel they seem to know just what people travelling need,after 4 months travelling asia this was by far the best place we stayed,a bit over our usual budget but the breakfast and swimming pool more than made up for it,our room was cleaned daily,plenty of hot water,powerful showers,bicycles at the front door for $1 per day,hoi an is a very friendly and beautiful town a definetly not to be missed destination,we would recommend the sunflower hotel to all budgets, they cater from the backpacker up and give a great customer service.

Good breakfast buffet, cool pool for afternoon dips, free shuttle bus to old town, free pick up from bus stop, good restaurant at very reasonable price 8.7 we called the hotel when our bus arrived. they sent a shuttle to pick us up. when we arrived, they poured tea for us and helped us carry our bags upstairs. breakfast buffet is excellent, with fruits,cakes, several cooked dishes, and eggs. service was friendly. when we left, the staff came running out to the shuttle with two bottles of water for our trip. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Skip the My Son tour. Hot, buggy, bad lunch, and guide may be unfriendly towards foreigners in general and especially anti-French and anti-Americans.

However it is worth the walk to stay out of town for the price you will pay. There is also a free shuttle to the town area though it is not always reliable. Call ahead and it may be possible to be picked up from the bus station when you arrive. The rooms vary in size, some are quite small. The breakfast was okay.
Paul O. Couples Australia, March 03, 2012	Lovely friendly hotel Big rooms, nice pool, good breakfast 9.3 My partner and I stayed at the sunflower for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we booked our train to Nah Trang with them and they were compairable to the travel agents if not a little cheaper. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and there is a chef who will make you fresh eggs and omelets on request. The rooms are very big, though feel a little old but still very comfortable and they don't supply a bath mat which I feel is essential, but no real big deal. We paid $a night absolutely wonderful value. Oh and the hotel has a shuttle service going into the old town every half hour I think. We didn't use it as we walked every time it only takes 10-15 mins max. I feel over all a great place to stay with pool, lovely staff, great location and great service! Top value! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Bike rental right ext to hotel only $1 per day. Rent a bike, turn left out of the hotel and cycle straight to the beach, lovely eateries on the beach.

Couples United Kingdom, March 03, 2012	Great hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. rooms are a decent size and clean - good value for money! ok breakfast selection but eating by the pool is nice. 7.7 The hotel is not in the town centre but the hotel offers a free bus shuttle to and from town every half an hour until 9pm. The bus journey is about 10 mins and if you would like to walk it takes about 25 mins. Staff were friendly and helpful, had lots of information about tours and onward journeys but best to go into town and see if you can get any better deals. Hotel picked us up from the bus station which was a free pick up so do tell them in advance your arrival time. Not a huge selection for breakfast but adequate to fill you up for the day. Pool was nice to have a dip to cool down. Hotel Feature Tip: Free pickup from the bus station - do let them know your arrival time. They may also pickup from the train station but best to ring up and confirm.
