Great value for money

This hotel is great value for money & the reception staff are very good & informative. Rooms were clean & big, was nice to have a bath, balcony & pool area. We hired bicycles for one day only $1 right outside sunflower. However they do a free shuttle bus service down the road which takes you near to the old town.
Shopping Tip:
Hotel recommended peace tailors and we were very satisfield with them.

When I arrived in sin cafe, the hotel pick up me to the room. It provides great breakfast. And you can rent a bicycle or motorcycle conveniently. It's great to go the the old town or the beach.

Location good with free shuttle

I found the location of the hotel to be fine - there is a free shuttle every hour to the heart of the city (5 minutes). I love to walk so I walked alot but when I was there it was raining for 4 days straight. I was told this is the time it rains alot.
Shopping Tip:
I'm sorry - I don't recall the name of the shop - but they will do 'boyfriend blazers' for $25 each. Mine came out great! It was the only shop I saw that had them out on display in front of the shop... loved it.

We stayed for three nights. They were still working on the rooms so a lot of drilling and working, but they tried to do it when the least customers were there, so it didn't really bother us. The pool is a nice excape from the heat! The shuttlebus is not really needed, it's about 15 minutes walk to the old town. Bikes can be rented for one US, and beach is about 5k down the street. Nice stay altogether, more a place for backpackers then for your honeymoon though.

hotel is ok for a budget hotel, however staffs are not so nice, their attitude are cold. near hotel dont hv much activities for night, from arounf 8pm it's very dark and boring, should go to centre to hv some fun
should rent a bike for about vnd (1usd) per day to go around, hoian is very beautiful

we had a spacious room but the building work that started around 7.30 ruined it for me a bit. the staff are wonderful but we should have not been put nextdoor to the rooms being refubished.

we loved it here so much that we doubled our stay. the breakfast was very comprehensive. the reception was extremely helpfull ordering taxis, arranging tours and airport pick ups. the shuttle bus service they arrange is a little erratic and you can easily wait upto 30-40 mins for the shuttle to 'be ready'.room were pretty clean although some construction work at the hotel at the time was a little annoying.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
any visitor should spend a few good days in hoi an town, its an amazing place to be one of our favourites after 1month hard travelling. the beach too is great, white sand and wavy sea. very wavy one day (red flag) but for me this was more fun :/

there is a lot of building work going on at this hotel at the moment which makes staying here very noisy! if you are palnning on going out all day then it's no problem, but when it's raining and you go back to the hotel or want a rest it's extremely annoying. the work starts from around 9.30am till about 5.30/6pm (however on our last morning whilst having breakfast we saw them working at 7.30!)
the breakfast is good though and i would recommend hiring push bikes to go to the beach and to the old town.
be careful with the washing though as a pair of shorts colour ran into another t-shirt and when we complained we were told it was already stained! it wasnt so not happy with that.
however overall we were happy with our stay and hoi an is a great place

I really reccomend the Sunflower. I have stayed in quite some hotels in Vietnam, this is def one of the better ones. Rooms are clean, staff surprisingly nice and sincere, swimming pool great, breakfast buffet with lots to choose from. Great hotel for a good price!
