very relaxing and beautiful hotel

kid's room-the staff was nice but the facilities was a bit run down

We loved the Victorian Hoi An. We stayed for five days with two young children and we had a great stay. The food was good and the service was excellent. The weather while we were there was not ideal but the friendly staff made our stay very pleasurable. THe bus service to the from the town of Hoian was very nice. The only complain will be that the facilities in the kid's room was kind of run down. Because the weather was not nice our kids had to stay in the kids' play room. Wished they had more acitivies for the kids.

Beautiful grounds. Rooms are well appointed and organised - very convenient. Nice swimming pool and other facilities. Close to town. Great food and drinks

Overall, great impression of the hotel. Not that much to do during rainy weather.

We stayed at the Victoria Hoi An for 2 days only and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative factor is the weather during december-january which tends to be rainy and therefore prevents you from taking advantage of all the facilities, such as the beach and the swimming pool. The hotel is close to town and has a shuttle which is very convenient. The drinks at the bar and the service is very good - great fresh juices and cocktails - good for kids and adults.

postion is good variety of roomd available is good the gardens and beach area well maintained, with lots of interesting pathways and smaller gardens Delicious breakfats with a good choice for many nationalities, and freshly baked bagettes lots of local infor about tailors, restaurants is available to guests Good kids club for short periods of time in the day especially when the weaterh is bad

terrible pillows for such an upmarket hotel. a good nights sleep makes or breaks a hotel and i found the pillows really large and hard, lovely feather pillows make a vast difference. the hotel is very exposed when the typhoon hits

the Victoris hotel is in a fantastic location on one side you have the beach and the other side the river where you can watch the local life pass you by be it a boat on the river or a herd of cows being driven along the road.the hotel staff are very pleasant and helpfull ( no other hotel staff in Vietnam compared to the Victrois staff)especailly those at the reception they went out of their way to book train tickets. the choice of food available is extensive and the childrens menu was ok too. during our 4 nights stay we had typhoon like conditions but between the kids club and excurions on the hotel bus we managed to keep oursleves and my children entertained. I would highly recommend anyone to visit the victoria at Hoi An.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We hired a cyclo in the evenings and put the kids in it while we strolled around the charming town of Hoi an and the kids were quite happy riding along behind us.
