The hotel was easy to get to from the station. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Would stay there again. We did get 2 cockroaches in our bathroom bit with spray used they did not return. It was a suprise as rooms were very clean. I think it was just the heat39c.

Amigo is in a quiet lane off the main road in the cheaper hotel and entertainment area next to the Perfume River. There are many hotel choices here and you don't have to look far for eating options. The rooms are older and a little tired but everything works - lots of hot water, cold AC, big beds etc. Staff are great - they make you feel well cared for and are not too pushy with tours. Breakfast is standard but a little stingy - eggs, baguette, coffee - but extra cost for juice. A couple of negatives: bottle water is not free but there is no notice of this (the prices is the cheap street price so it is just a little annoying, not a financial issue); some rooms (ie mine!)open onto a dank and dark gap between buildings. Make sure you ask for an outside view. OK but I'll try somewhere else next time.

Short but nice stay, loved the local tombs. Hotel staff did a nice job of arranging a tour for us. Would stay there again when back in Hue.
