We arrived to a sign at the front door welcoming our family to the hotel. Feel important or what. Good restaurants within walking distance, helpful staff, great breakfast, walking distance to the Cidital. Taxi drivers were honest. Hue is a stop well worth making for history. The attempt to make sales were not as pestering as in some cities either.
Walking distance to the Cidital
better lighting would be good.

This hotel is in a wonderful position with lovely views of the city and river. It is within walking distance of most of the attractions and is very close to some really good restaurants. The staff were very welcoming, obliging, efficient and helpful. The rooms were large and well presented, but a little tired (touch up paint). The decor was quiet and very restful and the air conditioning was efficient.
Staying here was a very pleasant experience.

Good service from staff
car hire to Hoi An was a huge disappointment. We were given a van, a driver who did not understand the words "stop the car". We explained when booking this trip we wanted to go over the pass. The driver took us through the tunnel so we didn't see any scenery. He also made an unwanted stop at his 'cousins' marble factory where we were badgered to buy. He did stop for us to photograph Marble Mountain and then made another unwanted stop at a shop in Hoi An. Where we did not get out as we wanted to be taken directly to the hotel. The trip was a huge disappointement as we failed to see as much of the countryside as we had hoped.
