Front office staff went out of their way to help us secure dinner reservations. Even called up the restaurant (outside) where we were eating to track us down to enquire if we wanted to confirm dinner at an ancestral home as they had only 1 table available.

Must stay for a perfect Hue vacation!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was the best decision we made for our vacation. The hotel was so relaxing, the room was huge which also had the best bed and pillows we ever slept in! In fact, we would love to find out what are the brands of the bed and pillows so that we can get them too! The abundance of TV channels to choose from was also an added bonus. The turndown service was a pleasant surprise for us.
The Vietnamese food served in their room service menu was splendid and the price was very affordable. I love the Hue style noodles, pancakes, etc. Breakfast also had a good spread of food for everyone's liking.
The hotel is around 8-10 minutes walk away from the main town area, but it didnt pose any trouble to us because taxis were readily available and only at 50k dong. Also, being away from the town meant you wont get disturb by all the loud honking from the cars which you get ever so often in Vietnam. There is a Big C Supermart beside the hotel which you can get water, snacks conveniently. Perfect location!
Unfortunately, the pool was due for maintenance for 2 days during our stay. A real pity as the weather in Hue was really hot and humid and a dip in the pool would be really nice.
The service and quality provided here was of such high standards, it was hard for us to leave. We look forward to coming back in the near future!

Fantastic hotel in beautiful Hue

We had a great stay at the Indochine Palace. Beautiful hotel, great staff - always friendly and happy to help. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. Lovely breakfast with heaps of variety. Comfiest beds I have slept in! Just divine. Nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom but it wasn't a drama as they change the towels twice a day. The pool was fantastic after a day of sightseeing. Great cocktails!! Beautiful little garden on the side with miniature houses - the kids were entranced. Great selection of free movies the kept the kids happy when they were tired.
A very luxurious little sojourn - great value for the quality of the hotel. Supermarket and ATMs very close by. Super restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
