Great location and view
Location, staff and room size
8.3
Just beside the Perfume River and walking distance to all the good restaurants like the Le Carambole. Staff is very helpful and speak good English. Breakfast was boring though with the same menu over and over again. The shower was placed low nearly hitting my head. The water pressure is also low. Room size is decent and with a view of the river but nothing compared to the view in the hall.
Restaurant Tip:
Just walk out the hotel, cross the street and you can have your choice of restaurants to fill your tummy.

Great staff, however beer & white wine hot.
6.3
Old hotel that needs some maintenance - power points need to be reattached to the walls. Beer and white wine need to be kept in the fridge. Staff were lovely and helpful organising tours and transport to Hoi An.Breakfast ws good. Good location for shopping.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Avoid the tour to the empresses garden, apparently a Helconia flower is a banana flower. Very boring garden indeed.

Great Location freindly staff
8.3
The hotel is in a great location some of the staff a very very friendly some just friendly, the hotel has a great pool and view, situated right on the river, the citadel is a nice walk across the river you can walk it about 20 minites and admire the views of the river or catch a dragon boat to take you across to the citadel for just $2.50 to $5US make sure you bargain. Back to the hotel the rooms and the hotel inside is due for a complete facelift, overall its still clean and friendly and a great spot also its quite...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
close to Citadel and restaurants and the markets

efficent friendly service

Lonely planet says this hotel is dated this is sort of true, although I liked this old worldly charm and thought it gave it character. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing, a buffet included in the price. Pool was also fantastic. Terriffic location on the water.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Trips are expensive to book from here go to a travel place in town.
Restaurant Tip:
Hot Tuna restaurant was great. Cyclo tour around citadel was good but bargin hard.

Good location but a bit run down
Lovely location right on the river

For the price we paid this place was fine. Our room was sizable, the breakfast was ok, staff were courteous and helpful. But it could definitely use some sprucing up.
Nightlife Tip:
The Hang Giang (I think I spelled that right) Hotel next door has a rather swell-looking dinner buffet with a live show. We could hear the music from our balcony and wish we'd gone there for dinner rather than just stopping by for a drink.

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The hotel is wel located and walking distance from the boat terminal and the old citadel. Location along the perfume river. Staff is friendly and provides good information and support. Breakfast is good. the rooms are large although I believe the bathroom could get a touch up.

Nice hotel with connected rooms for small family
This hotel has the premium location , It has the open view to see Huong River, Trang Tien bridge
7.7
I like this hotel with connected rooms that is suitable for small family with the kids. However the toilet room is pretty small
The facilities of hotel are pretty old ( elevators etc) , It needs to be upgraded in near time
The buffet breakfast should be provided more traditional Hue foods as Bun Bo, Banh Nam etc .
Travel tip:
It's great hotel if you have the big family come to Hue, As hotel has the premium location with many tourism services, bar etc around hotel

Older, well situated, good service
Riverside rooms have magniicent views.
8.3
Staff will do anything to make you comfortable. They will get you a car and driver, find you a tailor, feed you a wonderful breakfast before you go out to explore Hue. The hotel is getting a little long in the tooth, but the location and service go a long way towards overcoming the aged condition.
Shopping Tip:
Never pay an asking price for anything in Hue. Counter offer at 40% and work your way to the final price, usually about 60-70% of the first price.
