location, in the centre of town and right on the river
starting to show signs of ageing in the old wing
Nice hotel, good breakfast and pleasant service. Best part was the location, close to lots of good restaurants and within walking distance to many attractions.

Quiet, good location very helpful and friendly staff from the Manager to the Doorman
We arrived at 9am after an overnight train trip from Sapa followed by an early flight from Ha Noi. We had booked a riverview room but that was not ready. We received an upgrade to a suite which was a fantastic room and available immeadiately.It was my birthday whilst staying at the hotel and an unexpected surprise was to receive a bunch of flowers and a birthday card.
The staff and facilities greatly contributed to a very memorable stay in Hue.
Restaurant Tip : Good choice of restaraunts very close by also a visit to the top floor of The Imperial for a cocktail and the sunset is a must.

Very friendly staff and great location on the banks of the Perfumed River. Free use of internet, well catered buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms and overall very good value.
No obvious areas for improvement; decor is dominated by cane so it has a bit of an 80's feel, but hey, it is Vietnam!
We enjoyed our stay at the Huong Giang Hotel. Hue is not a place you will need to spend more than a few days in, so this hotel served our purposes well; close to the township, in a lovely setting and very pleasant staff. Fresh fruit provided daily in our room and other complimentary touches such as Newspaper and free internet. Nice enough pool area (for a town hotel.. don't expect a Resort style pool). Easy walking to tourist strips and the Citadel.
Shopping Tip : Choose your dressmaker very carefully. I had three dresses made very cheaply and you get what you pay for. All three dresses will be going in the bin. Poor quality and poor fit. Do not use Queen of Silk! (luckily only cost 800,000VND but I would have rathered invest this money in one more expensive but higher quality dress)
