Terrific hotel

We got a great room in the historical part of the building. It was very well equipped, spacious and clean. I would probably recommend booking a terrace suite, because it has a lovely view of the pool and garden, but any room should be nice. The staff it extremely attentive and friendly, although not annoying, and the buffet breakfast is fantastic! The surronding area is peaceful and quiet, and the hotel is just 5minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes walk from the Ho Chi Min museum.
All in-highly recommended, we wish we had stayed longer.

A very relaxing stfsy in a superb hotel

La. Residence is all it says it is. It is a beautifully appointed luxury hotel. If you want something of French Indochina stay here. My only reservation is that the evening menu could be more interesting.

The dominant focus at the bar is a spectacular fresco created by French Artist Roland Renaud who is based in Vietnam. It was inspired by wall paintings found on several art deco buildings in France. Among them is a fresco on the wall of the Musée des Colonies in Paris and The Main Post Office in Lyon. It took three months to create on one single piece of fabric and was made in Saigon before being transported to Hue and installed.
