Terrific hotel

We got a great room in the historical part of the building. It was very well equipped, spacious and clean. I would probably recommend booking a terrace suite, because it has a lovely view of the pool and garden, but any room should be nice. The staff it extremely attentive and friendly, although not annoying, and the buffet breakfast is fantastic! The surronding area is peaceful and quiet, and the hotel is just 5minutes walk from the train station and 2 minutes walk from the Ho Chi Min museum.
All in-highly recommended, we wish we had stayed longer.

La. Residence is all it says it is. It is a beautifully appointed luxury hotel. If you want something of French Indochina stay here. My only reservation is that the evening menu could be more interesting.

The hotel is not very big but people is the key. We were met with well-trained staff. The concierge organized every last minute request from us with great efficiency. Everything is functional and well thought of without overdoing. Food is excellent, some fresh ingredients are from their own gardens.

Really enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone headed to Hue. Rooms are small but quality. No adjoining rooms, so tough with small ones.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms and common areas are lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a bit out of the way - a 15 minute walk to the centre of town (if you want to brave crossing the roads). My only gripe was the food. I ordered a western meal and it really didn't agree with me. Best to stick to Asian food.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hire a boat and cruise down the Perfume River.
