this hotel was great. the staff is really nice. room is clean and spacious. i think this is one of the best hotels in hue. great value for your money.

ok you pay a little extra for this place (by asian standards) but it's worth every cent to stay here. the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful in every regard. rooms have been modernised and are very comfortable ... no asian mattresses here and the breakfasts are quite good. first place in our 4 weeks here that can actually do a good soft, poached egg. the hotel is in a smaller street so little street noise although close to a major street so easily accessed for transport. also close to a number of tourist attractions.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Trong Bridge at night is a must see. However they only light up the bridge on certain nights (I think it's Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights) and then only until about 9pm. It's worth the effort to see it. Also while there have a

nice room, food good, service good, not able to get wifi internet working on my ipad, was able to use computer in room but very slow and hotel does not allow access to facebook

Great hotel, great service, great location

staff are brilliant; rooms are terrific; location is close to everything - what more could you want! the rooms come complete with computer, dvd player and mini-sound system even. always clean, very spacious and with quality appointments.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go to the dmz and check out the area, especially the abandoned air base. don't be put off by the selling of dog tags, they're home-made not authentic.

Excellent hotel with staff second to none

on arrival welcome drink in dining room with receptionist bringing paperwork to us. the porters were excellent and efficient. the breakfast was excellent with a large variety to select from including up to 1our room had a flat screen tv, dvd/cd player, stereo0 different fruits. the room was large and very comfortable. room safe and plenty of hanging space provided. each day the room was serviced and elaborate animals, birds or butterflies were created from our fresh towels, face flannels and hand towels - almost a shame to dismantle. staff command of english and french excellent. one porter went out of his way in his own time to show us some of the lifestyle of the local farmers. our room had a flat screen tv, dvd/cd player, stereo system and a large collection of dvd's in the reception area. we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and felt we were in a 5 star hotel

Great location and fantastic service

we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. was likely the best in our whole 3 week stay in vietnam. the hotel was nice (we have the family suite), the location was great but by far the best selling point about this hotel was the staff. they were so friendly and helpful. they organised a private tour for us and the tour guide was wonderful - our two young kids loved him too which made the whole tour so much more pleasant. the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was plentiful. overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone, not just a family with young children

very nice 3 bed room. all amenities. we bbok here a car from hue to hoi-an for us$70. we love the ride!
Nightlife Tip:
it is 2 blocks from brown eyes bar. great place!

Good hotel with a warm welcome
Delightful, helpful staff who spoke good English . Nothing was too much trouble. They managed to exchange a seat ticket for soft sleeper on the train to Hanoi and only cost to us was the additional ticket cost.

rooms very good although ours was a little small, but as we only slept there was not a problem. would use the hotel again. well placed for old city and bike hire and bars and restaurants. went to dmz bar good value

Nice good hotel but shower cubicle is without door

The reception staff is friendly & speaks English. Complimentary breakfast is to be selected from the menu. Any extra has to pay but reasonably priced. Shower cubicle should have a door to prevent water from flowing into the rest of the toilet area. Location is good, hotel is clean.
Restaurant Tip:
Check with reception for recommendation for seafood. Avoid those nearby the hotel. Go to the ones further down where locals go for seafood. There are a row of such retaurants.
