The staff fantastique. It is one of the best places I have seen. I will definetly go back there. Thank you for a great stay.

Terrific staff and property. Food was fantastic as was the spa services.
The staff here really take great pride in the facilities and care / attention given to guests. Wife and I even received a hand-written "bed time" story. Meals were exceptional, but opt for restaurants over room service as it's much more comfortable in the facilities. The spa and staff are fantastic - services and prices.

Good food and wine selection, great staff, nice rooms, great gardens
TV a bit samll, pool to warm
The entire property is very well designed flowing through gardens along a stone walk path that accompanies you to spacious digs with great bathrooms and outdoor patios. Beds are comfortable and lighting in the room we stayed was again well designed, but the TV was a bit small for the space. The restaurant is reasonable prices with a great Vietnamese and Western selections. The pool was nice to sit and read, but we found the water a bit to warm especially after ½ day walking around Hue, however we did spend two afternoons sitting, taking in the gardens and snoozing
Recommendation: YES, the service staff is absolutely the best, looking after our every need with care and mindfulness.

Service, location, design, great bungalow
The design of the village contributes to tranquility and relaxation. The location further from Hue is great as the city is far from charming. Taxis are such a great deal that it can't be viewed as a disadvantage. The swimming pool is very well designed. The breakfast is first class.

Very green. elegant, with a large pool and nice rustic architecture, spacious rooms
The air conditioning was not strong enough in our high ceilinged honeymoon cottage, but the view was lovely and very tranquil
This is a very well designed and well landscaped facility, with two pools, nice rooms with rustic architecture, Cham statues and decorations, and a wonderful calming Zen feeling to it. But the air conditioning was not strong enough in our honeymoon cottage, and so the beautiful spacious room was a bit too hot. We were tempted to sleep on the floor under the fan instead of in the big 4 poster bed. It is also a certain distance from town, so you need to pay taxi fares or fit your schedule to their shuttle rides.
Hotel Feature Tip : The other facilities are lovely, but the air conditioning needs to be stronger for the July heat wave.

Everything was just perfect
This hotel is quite simply one of the nicest places i have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived the gracious staff catered for our every need. The hotel is beautiful with a distinct Zen feel two great pools, rooms large and serene Bed huge and comfortable. This hotel appears in the small luxury hotels of the world book and deserves its place. I have no idea what you would pay if it wasnt in Vietnam but it was superb value .... I will return
Travel tip : If you miss the shuttle bus there are plenty of taxis in Hue which cost only 30000 VD ($2US)

Very green, lots of plants, beautiful pool, tai chi classes in the mornings, rooms are large and well designed
air conditioning a bit weak for the high roofed honeymoon cottages, far from the center of town
We had initially booked to stay here for 3 days and extended our stay to 6 days, both because of what we found in the city of Hue and because this hotel was a wonderful refuge after a busy day. From the fresh cool ginger tea served for free to everyone in the lounge area to the stylish bar and plentiful offerings for lunch and dinner, this resort is well presented and aesthetically pleasing. The open air pavillions are reminiscent of hotels in Bali and Thailand, and the service is very sweet, conscientious and attentive. The only drawback during unseasonably warm weather is that the small air-con units in the cottages cannot cool the whole space, so the bed is still hot although the lounge area is cooled by the ceiling fan.
Restaurant Tip : The restaurants (one for breakfast, one for lunch and dinner) are fine, but it gets boring to always eat in the same place, so I recommend eating out in the city of Hue (which has many good places near the river) and returning here to sleep

country setting near historic sites and also close to town with a variety of restaurants. Wonderful craft shops.
My husband Jerry and I loved the Pilgramage Village. It was more beautiful and artistic than I had expected. We enjoyed the location as a retreat from town--cool away from the heat--but, also a convenient take-off point to visit the impressive historic sites of Hue. Our suite was huge and very luxurious with a great private ourdoor shower as well as indoor spa-like tub and shower. The grounds very carefully tended. The breakfasts were wonderful and offered a wide variety. The pool is very large, the staff extremely gracious and we appreciated the extra welcoming touch of a complimentary drink at the very sophisicated bar and the convenience of free Internat use. We would happily return. Claudie Benjamin
Hotel Feature Tip : There is much to see around Hue, but leave enough time to enjoy this spa.

Attentive staff, peaceful atmosphere, great spa experience.
Not the best restaurant - would have preferred more local style food. The (slope) pool was a bit warm
Stayed here for four nights in a Honeymoon Villa and enjoyed every minute of it. It was very peaceful - largely because we went in early June (low season) and there were very few other people there. We were provided with an excellent guide for one trip to the tombs in the area - which are definitely worth a visit. You are 4km from town, but when you are in the resort you get a real sense of being in a rural area, which is fantastic for relaxing as we did for a couple of days. There is a free shuttle to and from Hue with set times, but you can pay just US$2 to get picked up at another time.

Bungalows were exceptional, Staff were incredibly friendly and service was great. The pool was huge and a lovely temperature.
We stayed at the Pilgramage Village for 4 nights. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, set in tropical grounds. We stayed in a Deluxe villa which was huge, with a great bathroom and lovely balcony. The hotel was very quiet, so we received excellent service fom the extremely attentive staff.
The big pool (one of two on site) was refreshing and the pool bar served a good choice of drinks.
By far the best hotel - for looks, facilities and service - that we have stayed in during our Vietnam trip. Would definitely stay again.

Just beautiful with amazing rooms, helpful staff, beautiful grounds, a stunning pool. Food is great, spa is gorgeous, breakfast is a treat! Staff able and willing to help with anything. 5 star in every way.
Shuttle bus should run constantly instead of at scheduled times. Should also off an option on the other side of the river near the Citadel.
Just beautiful with amazing rooms, helpful staff, beautiful grounds, a stunning pool. Food is great, spa is gorgeous, breakfast is a treat! Staff able and willing to help with anything. 5 star in every way. Moreover, considering just how 5 star it is, the price and value is incredible! I would recommend anyone going to Hue to stay here. Worth slightly breaking the budget for!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For sightseeing to the tombs, this hotel is much better located than any other. It is in the middle of them as opposed to in town, making biking a more viable option.

The ginger tea we got at arrival. The free shuttle bus to Hue. The wonderful breakfast buffet.
The cost of 4 USD for a pair of slippers in plastic.
The fantastic design of the rooms.

Nice garden design, bricks room, big bathroom, big swimming pool looks like a lake. Good food, welcome towel and drink are presented.
A brilliant resort to stay, quite unique design for the whole area. The big swimming pool gives you the feeling like swimming in a lake. The bed is so comfortable. The service is also good. Delicious food and many options for breakfast.
Hotel Feature Tip : Very beautiful at night. Different room type gives you fine feeling.

Great buffet breakfast. Friendliest staff in Vietnam. Excellent room and facilities including a huge pool.
Location out of central city.
Best hotel to stay at if you want luxury in Hue. It is out of town but there is a free shuttle bus to the city. Good value for money. Spacious rooms and excellent bathroom! Swimming pool is top quality. There is a billiard room that we didn't use. We could have spent a day just lounging around the facilities if our stay wasn't so short in Vietnam.
