We were given a tremendous welcome at this hidden gem.
The hotel is tucked away from the small shops that surround it & when you walk the few steps away from the road into the property, it is like being transported into another world.
it is so peaceful & tranquil being set amongst lush tropical foliage with lots of butterflies & birds flying around, absolutely beautiful! Everyone at the hotel is extremely polite & will not pass you by without some greeting being uttered.
The rooms are in small blocks & are very spacious, with large balconies, the only problem we found was with the bed, which was a little on the hard side for the 3 nights that we slept in it, probably fine for one or two nights though.
There are two restaurants here, one is used for breakfast & is very pleasant with very good food & the other one is where dinner& I suppose lunch is served, but we did not use this restaurant as we were always out in town.
There is a very large swimming pool, again set down amongst tropical palms which was very nice to use, it is clad in black marble, which gives off the appearance of being like a small lake, when viewed from above.
There is a very useful shuttle bus that runs into the main town, a few times a day, first thing at around 9am & last thing at around 9.30 pm, so you can easily plan visits to various sites with a meal in town & a laze around the pool for an hour or two.
