A colonial classic

The room was excellent and the hotel is beautiful. The lower rating for the staff was based on 2 unique and individual instances. The first was being told that a "friend" could drive us to our next destination, although we'd asked about travel agencies. The second was the additional "service" that was offered during a massage at the hotel's spa.

We had a delightful time at this beautiful old hotel. I adored the old photos of the timeline that the Morin has played in the part of the history of Hue. The rooms and facilities where exceptional and I loved the open door onto the balcony, even though it was a busy street. I got a feel for what earlier times may have been.
Hue Airport was closed, so we traveled by private transfer from Hoian.

Local music and dancing and free movie every night. Super breakfast buffet. Excellent location

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Everything was great. Anything you wanted was within a 10 minute walk. Staff spoke english and were very friendly. We could not have asked for a better hotel.

Excellent Stay at this historic hotel in Hue

Excellent Stay. The receptionist allowed us to early check-in and even assigned a nice room with river view and the Trang Tien brigde is right
in front of our room. Charlie Chaplin and his wife used to stay here.
Breakfast is great with both western and Vietnamese favorites. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend for mature guests. Next time we'll be in Hue, Saigon Morin is the place to stay.

Lovely hotel
The court yard behind the hotel for dinning is excellent

I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. The hotel room is really huge and clean. With a balcony overlooking the street, it give you a very good view of the area. The court yard is excellent, a great place to dine and relax in the evening. There are also local performance playing local music and traditional dance.

A wonderful hotel in every respect

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while on business in Hue. The rooms are well appointed and large. I could comfortably work in my room and not feel like I was in a box; which I find is a problem in many other hotels. The Perfume River was just outside my window. The hotel is also well located in the central city. It was an easy stroll to the Citadel, which is a World Heritage Site. The best thing about the hotel though was the service. I cannot fault the service. Highly professional and attentive, but without being intrusive or seemingly forced. In all, I will stay at this hotel again when I am next in Hue.
