Hotel location is not good. We need speed 20-30 minutes to palace. bicyle service is good for cover this location weaknesses. It's perfer when hotel offers map.

Fantastic staff, great room!
breakfast is a choice of 2 options...
We had a great time at this hotel, they upgraded us to a suite and presented us with a basket of flowers when we checked in as it was our honeymoon. The hotel is located a couple of k's from the citadel, but we walked there in about 20 minutes and there were always plenty of taxis if you needed them. The upside of the location is that there was no traffic noise interrupting your sleep! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious but only two of the options on the menu were available.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The cyclos will try to overcharge you if they can, we had one guy say that he wanted $40US to take us about 3km! We settled on 40,000 dong, which is also the average cost of a metred taxi over the same distance.

Receptionist went above/beyond helping us with pointers. Manager was helpful and friendly. Overall the staff made a difference that we extended the stay there longer. Free internet/computer (but connection had to be done in the lobby even with own laptop). Hotel can help food delivery at odd hours. Large king bed and clean room.
Facility/Staffing not quick when the hotel is full. They struggle w/ English. Recommendation is to place numbers next to items with photos to help with language barrier. No lock on door and housekeeping enters before knocking.
The helpful and accommodating staff made the difference during our stay at this 3 story hotel. Although approximately 15 min away from the citadel by taxi, it's inexpensive. If I were return, I would definitely stay here again because of the "GREAT" hotel staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel will arrange tour to all the tombs with pickup from the hotel. However, be prepared to pay an entrance fee (cash) for each site and to catch a taxi back to the hotel. Staff knows a tailor who can hem pants/jeans for a great price (Mark length to cut w/ fold prior to dropping off or going since no fitting room). I prefer this historic town over crowded Saigon. Unfortunately, it rained when I visited in mid Dec'08.
