bit far from town but that in itself is also part of the appeal.You can really tell this resort is well managed, every detail is being taken care of! If you want to relax in a nice and quiet beach atmosphere this is THE place to be!

Really helpful and friendly staff though their English was often not well enough. There could be greater variety of the menue and lower prices of the food. the pools need vacuuming and cleaning a lot more often. The boat trips between Nha Trang and Hon Tam island can be a bit too long sometimes. The ceilings of the rooms and bathrooms have grass coming down from them and we had lizards slipping in many times.

mosquito, mosquito, mosquito!

hontam resort location seems perfect for our honeymoon since we wanted a quite time together. in pur first night, we arrived at 10, check in no problem but when we got to our room, mosquito was everywhere. we went down for a supper but it was expensive and the potion was tiny. we had food here a few times but there wasnt many things on the menu and very little seafood. the only highlight about this trip was that thanks to the mosquito we actually made friend with another couple and escaped from Nha Trang to Dalat for a few days, away from the mosquito:)) The free kayak service would have been great if it wasnt for yhe fact that all of them are in maintenance for the whole time we were there. only 1 out of 3 bicycle used by guest was actually working. Perhaps Hontam could have taken care of these facilities better for the price we paid. the acarde center as well as the karaoke did not operate. the bar serve good non-alcohol drink but do not expect a good gin and tonic from here

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

We are travelling in a family of four. Me and my fiancee and with my parents. We stayed there three nights Hotel booked from Agoda and well discounted. We stayeed in 1101 and 1102. We guess the view will be better if live further up on the hill. However, both rooms still have really nice view of the beaches and the sea. The whole island is like a beautiful park and private. The service in the hotel is fantastic. We definitely will come back. The toilet in both rooms share the same roof. Be sure to ask the hotel to setup an mosquieto net for you coz the insect there are really good biters.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The aiport in Nha Trang is called Camranh. Ring the hotel for airport pickup if you arrive late by air (cost around 27USD). The driver will take you to a port in Nhatrang then transfer by shuttle boat. Free Shuttle boat runs every one hour. you need pay if you need leave in other time. There are two sections of beaches on the island. Both have nice views but the one next to the hotel is more private. The city tour trip booked from Hotel , which is expensive than normal. However the seafood restaurant the guide took us there was really fantastic and very very cheap. Do not know the name and it is along the coast. If you drive along the coast from south to north, it is on your left hand side. 5km from city centre.

Perfect bungalows but please no music

We really enjoyed our time in theHom Tan Eco Resort. The place is very nice, the construction and the bungalows very nice, the staff is very friedly but they need to improve their english as they dont speak much, the only thing we really need to say is that the music in the hotel is really no necessary at all. Such a beautiful place requires either silence or quality music and not specially early in the morning. But this is definetly a very nice place to stay! Also the jet skys should be confined in the the public area and not in front of the bungalows.

The beautiful resort near Nha Trang city

We booked this resort so far thought Agoda -about 330 days before depart for get early booking discout about 20%.
Take a express boat about 15 minutes will go there. It has a private beach, On day a lot of boat shedule round trip depart from island to port and back from 6 a.m. They got all staff's training from Best Western group. Only thing made we disapointed was they checked in so slowly because we arrived at around 8.30 a.m but we can not get a room unstill 2 p.m.
On islands has a lot of coconut trees and so beautifull beach. We love their beach very much.
We stayed in 2105 room with the best Nha Trang bay view. It located on 2 floor - the bungalow with higher than 1 floor. With a large bathroom outside bungalow which make you feel that take a bath in garden.
We love Hon Tam resort so much and will come back again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get a room number from 12...is a foor 2 with the best Nha Trang bay view.
