Just love the beach!!

Everything was great but the food. It was expensive and didn't taste as good as on land. Breakfast was ok though.

Beautiful beach and very peaceful place...

Hon Tam is a place where you can relax and enjoy peaceful time together with your beloved. The sea view is really beautiful, and the beach is awesome! The pool is nice, too. The service is ok, but the food is expensive and doesn't taste as good as on land. So, eating food on Hon Tam is nothing we recommend... but the breakfast is ok though. Both my husband and I got food poisoned when we ate at their restaurant the first evening... next morning the receptionist sent a nurse to our bungalow to check on us... and gave us some medicine. We lied in bed the whole day that day... Since we lost 1 day, we wanted to stay 1 more day to discover the island. The internet didn't work, so we ended up doublebooking... We talked to the receptionist, but she told us to contact Agoda, since it was through Agoda we booked our room... Hon Tam didn't pay us back, they charged us for 2 rooms... We were really disappointed, so we wrote email to both Agoda and Hon Tam's manager. They promised to pay our money back. I really like Agoda, bacause they know how to take care of their custumors... Hon Tam's management department is ok too, but you have to be rough, because once you've paid them, it's hard to get your money back.
Restaurant Tip:
Dèn lóng do is one of the restaurants we ate at in Nha Trang. The price is more than ok, and the food tastes good too. There are alot of different kinds of food.

Nice and relaxing stay

I've stayed here before for a friends wedding, fantastic place. If you got the time, stay on a weeknight and it almost feels like your the only guest on the island. Food is quite decent in the restaurant and service from the staff is top notch. This place is the "perfect getaway" if you want something peaceful and more of a retreat type stay. Will stay here again in the future.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definitely book in a spa treatment or massage, high quality.

Nice secluded place and luxurious nature

We spent 3 nights at Hon Tam Island Resort splitting our vacation into three different places. So that one was the last and chosen on purpose - secluded, romantic, clean, safe and picturesque. We stayed there in early October - not the high season - so the place wasn't busy but the weather was still nice: lots of sunshine in the morning, a bit cloudy and sometimes rainy starting from 4-5 pm. The facilities and maintenance were good. Not a lot to do there except for enjoying the sea and water sports (kayaking is free), two big nicely designed swimming pools (min 1.45 m, max 1.60 m), one of which is located in an entertainment area open at daytime for visitors from the mainland, and their spa. The only negative experience we had were numerous birds nesting on the huge tree next to our villa, so that every night the birds made us uncomfortable with all kinds of weird sounds on the roof (I hope those were the birds) and every morning our balcony was covered with a thick layer of their excrements cleaned by the hotel staff before noon.
Restaurant Tip:
There are two restaurants on Hon Tam island but in low season they are almost empty and not that attractive. A speedboat (free for hotel guests) rides to Nha Trang mainland and back every hour till about 10:30 pm so you can always catch a ride to the city and enjoy plenty of bars and restaurants there. We tried dinner one night at Hon Tam Resort, which was plain, more expensive than any you can try in Nha Trang and their chicken curry was far from what it should be.

Upon arrival, very sincere reception. Nice people, everyone smiling. Very beautiful quiet beach, interesting sports, exciting parachute. Beautiful view, 180 degree open view. A very large sight but everywhere electric cars makes very convenient.

It was three star. not 5.

I had insect bites in the room. It said they have kids club, but they did not.They did not have balloon riding. They should advertise that they can provide. I can not say it is five star.
Restaurant Tip:
Sea food restaurant in Nha Than was very good. You need insect repel before you go to bed.

Great place for a retreat

I travelled with a big group of friends and we all enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on the island. We can spend days just sitting by the nice beach and having sunbath. The room is nice with perfect view of sunset. The bathroom is quite special as it's made outdoor! Well, felt a bit unsafe. The only drawback is the electricity on the island which is quite unstable at night when everybody is home.

it's really a waste of such a nice place. the hardware capacities fell into disrepair. the service here is unprofessional. 1st night: no hot water for shower. had them try to fix it for 2 times, but failed. 2nd day: change to another room. the TV set was broken. in the afternoon, found there was no electricity. failed to fix and then change the room AGAIN. i'm not satisfied with the attitude of the hotel persons. did not receive any apology even vocally. i bet i'll never visit this place again, NEVER!

beautiful resort
on a beautiful island, very green nature, lovely bungalor

We stayed 3 nights at the resort, very relaxing, we enjoyed our staying. We spend almost our time at the resort but there is limited selection on the menu at the dinning room, so we have to travel everynight to mainland to have dinner. Need more entertainment activity, and mosquito control.(couldn't sleep).
Need a lot more work to be rate 5 star.
