Good hotel in Ninh Binh

I stay in Ninh Binh only 02 nights.It is NhaViet mountain hotel
It is a good hotel .The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and spacious and near the centre. Thank hotel staff for welcoming me when i checked in. I will come back here again

ninh binh is a big construction area, as is the surrounding of this hotel. breakfast was too late, starting 8 am, but good, bike rent a bit "expensive" for vietnamese standard, 50.000 per person per day, but we had a super discount, so... we had to remove the plastic of the matras, and there were some dirty mats, and hair and things in the sinkhole in the shower (same spot as the toilet), but room is clean. we might have missed our train because the pay machine was broken and the owner wanted to go to atm but not to the trainstation, we had to take the city bus he told us. ever tried that in vietnam?
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
eat in the restaurant with the light blue walls in the main street near the main crossing, although the 2nd night we walked away angry because 10 things went wrong because of nobody speaking english. as does the staff of the hotel. use google translate. owner speaks english. use an old no airco taxi from the friend of the owner or just negotiate with a taxi for max 300.000 for 10 km and 2 hours waiting at hoa lu or just before tam coc and walk around there.

Felt like a boutique hotel

the hotel occupies a new building wich, on the one hand, is nice. but all the area is literally growing out of nowhere, so you'll get a construction view from all the rooms. as the area is being developed, the is no cafes or other places to go nearby, it's about 10 minutes to a street where you can find shops and restuarants. but the staff do their best to make guests forget about it. a nice young man who greeted me at the reception took me to the town centr on a motobike for free a couple of times, he answered all my questions (and i had a lot), and he cooked my meals, which were fantastic. he was always around to assist me. it was like being a vip in a boutique hotel.
and it's quite in the area in night time. but the bes is not soft enough to my liking.

Friendly and helpful hotel staff

This hotel is fairly new and owned by a family. Rooms are clean and provide what you need. Breakfast is on the roof and there is a choice of food. The manager personally took us to a restaurant as we arrived so late and wanted to try some decent food. We'll go back again.

Fantastic Service but not close to many attraction

this hotel was a little difficult to find at first (i believe this will change in a few years for the city is rapidly developing), but when we did we had a wonderful stay. the service at this hotel is fantastic. two of the head workers speak english very well, and are extremely helpful in helping you arrange visits to the sights you want to explore, and renting the proper transportation. there is also a simple and good restaurant on the top floor of the restaurant (great view!). breakfast was included with the price of the room.

Adequate but not inspiring

The location is somewhat remote and Ninh Binh from the centre of Ninh Binh, however the price was reasonable. The breakfast was adequate but not generous.Views were not inspiring, walking to town gave the opportunity to interact with local people.

Best service in s.e. asia!!

The manager at this hotel could not do enough for us! He bent over backwards to help us with transport & accomodation at our next destination, was full of enthusiasm to learn English & give the best possible service that he could possibly provide.
Rooms were more than adequate with everything you need, fan, air con, fridge etc. the only thing that I can say negative about our stay was the bathroom plumbing maybe a little dodgy & there was an odour if bathroom was shut up.
The elevator was a joy to be hold after many stays in places that we ended up lugging up our luggage many flights of stairs, restaurant was very handy on top floor with a great view of the city.
As far as value for money goes, I say go for it !!

a nice quiet hotel
we really appreciated their friendliness and hospitality. They helped us with whatever we needed.

we really enjoyed our stay. we had a clean, spacious room with our own balcony and was able to enjoy the fireworks during the tet holiday. while we were there during this holiday it was very peaceful and quiet. the restaurant floor has a nice view of the surrounding countryside and mountains. we were also able to enjoy a nice new year's dinner with the owner's family. we thank them for their hospitality and their invitation to join them. it was much appreciated and it made our stay there that much more enjoyable. we will always remember it. thank you again and god bless you for your kindness to us.
Hotel Feature Tip:
One of the staff members knows English quite well which was very helpful. Others spoke a little and were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant walk to the town center and surrounding rice fields. Each only a couple of kilometers away.

This is a wonderful hotel that offers more than what they state in website. I was impressed by how clean it is. Nha Viet's staff is extremely nice and are always ready to advise on what you ask for. Travel information, food and beverage menu, tour packages... with fixed price.
Wifi connection is available in each floor, free coffee at anytime of the day. It is surprised that the price also includes breakfast with variety of western choice (ofcourse, simple menu).
Recommended among the budget hotels but great services in Ninh Binh.
