Allezboo Beach Resort and Spa Phan Thiet Info
A three hour drive from Ho Chi Minh city, the resort is located on the Mui Ne Beach. Set away from major cities, it makes for the perfect relaxing getaway. The Spicy Lobster Restaurant serves fresh seafood, Vietnamese specialities, Thai cuisine and international favorites. The Allezboo Bar & Grill next to the pool, can be a nice spot to read or just lounge during the day. It also holds weakly barbeque parties and beach bonfires. The tropical bar is housed in an historical, traditional Vietnamese house. The hotel can help organize tours to discover Phan Thiet, along with an experienced team. The Lotus Spa, offers a range of massages and baths as well as a beauty salon.

nice rooms, bathrooms were lovely, manager very receptive to customer complaints, and was very helpful when transportation was needed; free wifi appreciated. Overall the facilities were quite nice and very peaceful. Additional bed for the children would cost 30 usd extra per night. When I needed to leave the resort and needed emergent transportation, the manager was very helpful and the staff in general were courteous.
Travel tip : Make sure to bring mosquito protection.

The staff were lovely and attentive. We went in off peak time and had the generous sized pool to ourselves most of the time.The grounds are very nice and the resort is at the end of the beach so it is quieter. The spa was good with prices comparable to other spas on the strip. Food in the restaurant was pretty bad. they have a snack menu and the best thing on it was a cheese burger. The bread at breakfast was stale as was the cereal. Their poached eggs were not recognisable. I thought they were scrambled. We had a nice quiet time at the Allezboo resort and spa. We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The grounds are quite beautiful and the rooms a good size. The pool is quite large and although it doesn't have a really shallow end for smaller children the spa pool is quite large and covered and would be quite suitable. The resort is at the end of the beach so it is quieter and we didn't see any touts. The down side of this is that it is a taxi ride to any shops or restaurants. The spa facilities were very nice and the massage very relaxing. We found the Restaurant food to be very poor and would have gone out for breakfast but didn't want the hassle of ordering a taxi. While we enjoyed our stay next time we will stay somewhere a little closer to the centre of the strip.
Restaurant Tip : Hung Vu restaurant was great for seafood and quite cheap.

1. Garden view room was pretty big and comes with a viewing balcony
2. Decent summer promotion rates
3. Resort is the first resort on the main beach strip, hence it is quieter than other resorts
4. New resort, hence all amenities looks pristine
5. Excellent service staff 1. There were many houseflies in the restaurant where we had our breakfast and it totally killed the experience
2. Prices for a day tour to Mui Ne Sand Dunes & fishing market is marked up by 10 USD (25USD) than street rates (you can get it for just 15 USD from tour agencies right opposite the resort)
3. Didn't enjoy the massage and spa service very much as the masseuse didn't use enough strength, and there was only one masseuse working when we were there, hence we weren't able to get our massage done together. My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable stay at Allezboo Beach Resort and Spa in Phan Thiet. This is a new resort hence all facilities and amenities looks clean and pristine. The service staff were exceptionally friendly, which we feel is typical of Vietnamnese. They were prompt to our response which made our experience a pleasant one indeed. One area that requires improvement though is the prices for a day tour in Mui Ne, which is marked up by close to twice the street rates by the hotel. On the same note, it would have been better if there were more than 1 masseuse on duty so that they can handle and bigger volume of customers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Pay no more than 20 USD for a 1/2 day trip to Mui Ne White and Yellow Sand Dunes, fishing village and the fairy stream. A trustworthy local told us that the going rates are 15 USD for a driver (most of which knows a little English, hence they can double up as a guide) and 25 - 30 USD for a driver and a guide. We paid 15 USD for our trip and we were satisfied with it.
At the Fairy Stream, beware of boys eager to take advantage of your generosity by claiming to serve as guides to the stream. The boys will surround you asking for money so that they can go to school or buy food for their family, in exchange for a guided tour. We paid 3 USD and they simply fled the scene. Another couple, however, paid 20 USD, so we were still lucky.
For food, I would recommend Hong Hanh Restaurant - Bar right opposite Palmira Resort. It is a small restaurant that serves fantastic food at decent prices. Must-trys include grilled snapper and braised claypot chicken. The restaurant manager, Khanh, speaks German, Russian, English etc, and he epitomizes the friendly service that my girlfriend and I experienced in Vietnam. Highly recommended!
