Very nice place to relax in a friendly atmosphere

We stayed at Allezboo Resort and Spa for 10 days with two kids (11 and 14) and discovered a very nice spot to stay and relax in the December sun.
What we LIKED:
The whole resort is overall clean and perfectly arranged around a tropical garden which is kept in perfect shape and provides some extra shade that is very welcome while walking from your room to the pool or nearby beach.
The swimming pool was very much appreciated for some refreshment and playing and is very close to the nearby beach. We had never problems finding some free loungers both at the pool or downstairs at the resort beach strip.
The hotel staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful and deserves an extra 'star' for being around ;-)
The Allezboo resort is located at the beginning of the main beach road which gets nicely busy in the afternoon and offers a very good choice of restaurants of different styles and cuisines - you simply cannot starve here :-))
Overall we can recommend this place both for couples without kids as well as families.
Travel tip:
What you should consider when visiting Mui Ne:
* Although the beach itself is very beautiful with ii's clean sand and shallow waterline, you will always find some moderate breeze and the waves can reach 1 - 2 meters easily, so very small children should not be kept alone here.
* We took a mini bus from the airport of Saigon to Mui Ne and back - and it took some five hours in each direction. You may want to take this into calculation ! The roads are in very poor shape and traffic speed is rarely above 60 km/h...
* The majority of visitors are Russians - and many of the restaurants and shops are owned by Russians as well. We didn't care too much about it and we had no bad impressions at all, but you may want to know this...
* We also joined one of the 'sand dune' Jeep tours organized by one of the local tour agencies. Although it is of course 'touristic' we can recommend it, especially the sunset in the Red Dunes was very impressive.

Good location and nice rooms

We arrived late to find we had been upgraded. Nice rooms. Have stayed here before and continue to return. Breakfasts are good and suit all tastes. Pool is lovely. Room service is good. They have staff clean the beach which is good to see in Vietnam.
Shopping Tip:
Good shops with clothing that fits bigger than Vietnamese size.

Beautiful hotel, great service
Breakfast is delicious, love the fresh yogurt. Actually everything is perfect!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel located on the west side of the beach, very quite, but a little far away from the central beach, 3 or 4 kms. But you can take the bus, only 9k vnd.

Although our was good I have to comment on the extortionate drinks prices, which showed in the patronage of the bar - it was empty. My advice is to drink outside! We had tell the staff to turn the
music down & the kareoke bar over the road was invasive. The staff could have better English too.

Beautiful but somewhat unfriendly

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 12-year-old son. The room was spacious and well-designed, but there were ants (to be fair, everywhere we stayed in Vietnam had ants). Also, our lovely balcony was almost unusable because some animals came up and made it their bathroom every night. The swimming pool is spacious, clean and a real attraction. Also, the breakfast buffet was good. It had everything I might want. The beach has large waves and that can be fun but there are rocks out there under the murky water and if you are not careful you could get hurt. I would recommend this place because of the beautiful setting. As I said above, the staff was not smiley or happy, but who cares.

the service was not great and the breakfast was poor. (lots of flies and birds around the food)
although there were a lot of people staying there the restaurant was empty at lunch times and dinner times. the menu looked ok but whilst trying to order food from it they kept saying that the item we were asking for they did not have it had all gone. i think it is in a lovely location and they need to work on their service and trying to get people to eat in their restaurant. even room service was not very good as they did not answer the phone my husband had to go to them to order something.

There are no elevators. The beach is rocky. The bathrooms smell very bad due to their plumbing. The staff didnt arrange our rooms correctly and the six rooms we booked were scattered throughout the hotel, even in different buildings.

I had a great holiday even it was short. The manager had changed the room and gave me the better offer:) one village and one premier room. They are poerfect.
