Breakfast was a prime example - on each on the 4 mornings we had to ask for coffee as the pots were empty, we had to ask for bread as the baskets were empty, we had to ask for service at the omelette table. Each polite request was met with less than enthusiasm and the requested items were slow to appear. many times staff were leaning or standing around chatting and not looking after table service or customers. Tables remained unclear for quite some time. Empty beer bottles left on a hall table near our room stayed there for 3 days even though the rooms were serviced daily. A wake up call to our room came 45 minutes late! Lucky we had a back up!
