Worth to stay for a relax vacation

Stay: I really enjoy the stay at Arcadia hotel. The hotel located in the center of Long Beach (yellow sand beach). The beach is just behind the hotel. It is very clean and nice. There are no rocks and less trash in comparison with upper of the beach. Staffs of hotel clean the beach every day. They are very friendly and helpful. Moreover, the restaurant of hotel has a stunning view to the sea. The facilities in hotel are brand new. Hope the hotel will have swimming pool soon.
Travel around: Hotels offered motorbike rental service. It costs around VND 200,000 per day (around 10 USD). From the hotel, driving to Star Beach (white sand beach) around 30km, it is worth to pay a visit to this beach. The street is very dusty because they are under construction. Remember to bring a mask with you.
Eat: you can eat at the hotel or go the restaurant next to the hotel named “ Hieu” restaurant where they sell fresh seafood with reasonable price.
Relax: in the afternoon, from 1:00 pm to 5: 00pm, there is massage on the beach. It costs around VND 100,000 (USD 5) for body massage in 40 minutes. It is really relax to have massage after swimming.
Shop: from the hotel, you can go to a Pearl farm or Dinh Cau night market to buy some t-shirt and souvenir.

Pretty hotel on the beach with helpful staff

The hotel is lovely and of a good standard. You need to set your expectations in line with Vietnamese norms and then it really does standout as a great hotel. The staff were very helpful and offered food and drinks on the private beach for the hotel. It's central on the strip of resorts on the beach and the island is small enough to get around from the hotel.

arcadia's location is ideal. really nice breakfast buffet make your first meal easy. 100 ft from the resort to the north is a cheap and friendly seafood shack where i ate most of my meals.

Nice Resort but Under Construction
Beach, quiet, fantastic sunset view, but the same at most Phu Quoc hotels.

The Arcadia is upgrading the resort to a more modern style building. Half of the resort was being built and was quite noisy during the day, which was not an issue for me, considering the price. I am glad I had the less expensive room though. The more expensive ocean view rooms are 'fish bowls'.
Restaurant Tip:
The best place to eat, and by far the least expensive is the night market in town. A good dinner with a beer will be around $us.

I had a very pleasant stay here, but it was a little too peaceful, almost. If you are part of a couple, then this is the place to be. There is a nice bar/restaurant serving delicious food, and a string of smaller restaurants a little walk down the beach. the internet came in and out, and the shower was very fiddly, but neither of these were big enough complaints to taint my stay. Phu quoc 'town' is a small moto - taxi ride away, as are the snorkel tour shops. Very pleasant, ultra-relaxing.
Restaurant Tip:
go to the night market. Incredible seafood, incredible photo opportunities.

Arcadia was a little difficult to find, but it was well worth it - fantastic little bungalow with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. I went to relax and I was certainly able to do that. Really comfortable room with its own mini safe for valuables. Perhaps more variety needed than just seafood on the restaurant menu, as I ate out of the resort most nights with varying results. Minor power problem one evening knocked out wifi access, but overall a great place to stay, with a fantastic beach location

Some bungalows are still in development - but there wasn't any noise or anything so not a problem.
In fact you are likely to be staying in nice new rooms which are nice. Happy with the rooms, big enough, good quality, TV with good reception, minibar, safe.
Restaurant was handy and of good quality. Had a couple of cocktails there and they'd ran out of the ingredients, so they were a bit rubbish!
Restaurant Tip:
Go and eat at the night market in town. Lots of good fresh seafood to select from.

great location new but still need to workout kinks

hotel is newly built on popular strand of beach. however, since it is rather new, some services like food (i.e. good) is limited. give this hotel another year to workout kinks. there are plenty of dining and night life options nearby. make sure you rent a scooter!
the island itself only has two developed beach areas, which is good because the nw part of island is sparsely inhabited with pristine beaches.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
do not go during rainy months from july-nov. because island services like fishing and diving are closed.
