This is amazing hotel for group or couples if you could book the wood house room with full equipment in kitchen, very convinient and cost saving . But lacking small direct roadbto the beach is a big regret

Bit weird but cheap and close to the beach
9
We were looking for somewhere cheap, close to the beach and with a/c. This place filled the brief.
It's on the other side of the road to the beach so it's about a 5 minute walk down onto the beach.
The included breakfast was pretty good and the staff were very helpful.
It's attached to a museum and the place had the feel of a faded amusement park.

The staff were friendly and the room was large but that's about all to be honest.
I stayed in a room that was at the top of a hill climb with not many lights after dark. The bathroom was poor, with bugs everywhere. The bath was broken, there was a huge split in the bottom of it. The shower had nowhere to put the shower head and stand under, plus there was no shower curtain or screen.
The bedroom had two large beds. The wooden headboard was split so my pillows kept getting covered in wood chips as I slept. There was also no safe in the room which was a bit of a worry when it was so easy to slip the lock on the door.
The location of the hotel is quite some distance away from the town so a motorcycle or car is a must. There are no buses or tuk tuks to get there and taxis are few and far between.

Stay away!
Close to the beach - like every single hotel in Phu Quoc
3.7
Definitely did not think much from this hotel. To start with it's pretty far out of town, at least 30 min walk, so you'll need to rent a bike or cab or walk all the time. Bungalows are expensive for what you get and beds are rock hard; breakfast is small and bland. Most of the staff was fine but the manager was extremely rude. Some bungalows are up a steep hill, hard climb for the very young or old. Our fridge didnt work and we didnt really get hot water. Plenty of hotels on Phu Quoc, you can do so much better. If not in the high season, book one night and see if you like it; you'll have no problem finding another place.

Strongly don't recommend this hotel,we had a bad memory here.first of all,no drink water provided.secondly, Not besides the beach, and they do get swimming pool, but no water in it!what's more ,they charge us water fee twice!!! Last but not least, even haven't reached the check out time, they starting to ask we to go,and very unfriendly told us,we'll be charged after 12!!! Best hotel I had ever lived!!!

best place in phu quoc
quiet, clean, lovely gardens
9.3
we can't say enough about this place. besides being quiet and clean, you are treated like family. the managers, dei and hue, can't do enough for you.
on lunar new year's eve, all the guests were invited to have free drinks and special tet food with them. at midnight, we shared in their tradition of honoring their ancestors, country and buddha in the temple on the resort. we were welcome to strike the bell and pound the drum as well.
in the future, there will be a swimming pool added to this garden resort.
if you want a great place to stay, this is it!!

I stayed 3 nights and the hotel fulfilled everything I expected of it. The rooms were fine the breakfast was good the staff were freindly. It is a little walk from town so I would recommend hiring a scooter. Overall for the money it was very good!
Restaurant Tip:
Must go to Sokora restaurant, a few km out of the way but well worth it! Tams restaurant just down the road is good also and you can get a really cheap Saigon red (less than 50cents)there. But the food at Sokora was just amazing and under $2 per main course!

interesting place
unusual gardens which featured two large enclosures for sea eagles! near to the beach.

The hotel has a museum in the complex and a garden which is currently being re-designed. There are lots of benches and trees to sit undner and will be very relaxing once work is complete.
Our room was vvery spacious and clean, and was cleaned daily.
The breakfast provided was a selelction of fruits, eggs or noodles with a drink.
There's a restaurant which was ok, but we prefered to eat on the beach.
