Great familiarity but lots of ants in the rooms

this hotel has very basic facilities but benefits from a great although remote location and a faboulous view on the ocean. the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. the breakfast as well as the regular food in the restaurant is really good. the rooms have besides the ac a very low standard and ants are everywere which is really annoying and makes sleeping almost impossible.

A great right on the beach getaway.

i had a great stay here and really felt "away" from it all, which is what i wanted. very nice beach with warm ocean water for daily swimming! the bungalow i stayed in was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a single traveller.

The hotel is far from the central area - about 5 minutes drive (too far to walk), but near beach.
The hotel description said "sea view bungalow", but we only saw a tiny part of the ocean from our bungalow. Still - not far from the beach, and sun-beds on the veranda outside the bungalow.
The hotel restaurant had some delicious food - especially the caramel fish.
In our bungalow we heard mice/rats (or other animal) in the wall. We told it to the manager, but she didn´t care much. Apart from this incidence, the service was good.
You can rent scooters at the hotel (about 8 USD for 1 day), we recommend to drive around the island and explore the small villages - see some of the real Vietnam.

the paris beach was a nice hotel on the beach. the staff was friendly and helpful. the rooms were a decent size and breakfast was quite good and a lot of selection. the beds are a bit hard and the shower left a little to be desired as it was just off the side wall of the bathroom - not separate. however, the water nice, the beach in front of the hotel was clean.
Restaurant Tip:
Eat at the night market. The seafood is fresh, a wide variety and the price is relatively inexpensive for a lot of food.

a little way from "town" but that is what we were after....peace and quiet. the young staff were fabulous, breakfast very good and location ideal. bang for buck was ok. room wasn't what we had been used to, but comfortable enough. we stayed in a beach front bungalow, which isn't actually beach front as there is a drainage channel between the room and the sea.your not paying hilton prices so don't expect hilton services. the access road to the resort was extremely rough, but we managed to ride our moped over it.
Travel tip:
Hire a moped and travel the Island. Have yourlocalbooking.com organise your transfers and a day trip to the South.

Really nice relaxed place to stay, towards the end of the developements on Long Beach which ment that we had the sea to our selves, but it did mean a romantic walk along the beach (in the sea) to get to evening food and drink.
That said, the food at the hotel (especially the fish) was awesome. the staff were great and when we slept in through breakfast they still made us both an omlette (excellent).
There is nowhere to sunbath directly outside the hotel as the sea comes right up to the front door, but there is a bit of beach just to the left of the hotel and there are sun beds scattered through the grounds of the hotel.
would highly recommend staying here!
Restaurant Tip:
the night market does superb fresh fish for supper. You can have it cooked however you like at may of the stalls.

we stayed 10 unforgettable nights here. we liked friendly attitude of staff, the restaurant and location with respect to sea beach. on the other hand, the hotel is relatively far from the center of the town and other hotels and restaurants (2-4 km), though it is not a big problem: you can walk along the beach or take a taxi.
the advantage of a small hotel is that you know all staff and they know you, which adds much more warmth in the relationships. we were pleasantly surprised with their attitude.
but if you want a luxury hotel and/or one with a large green area you should probably look for a different place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a bike right at the hotel reception and explore the island: this is "a must"!

Beautiful beach hotel

staff was great, food was delicious and the location was nice and quiet (not too close to town). i rented a motorbike from the hotel (very convenient), you could also rent a bicycle from them. my room and the beach and water were all nice and clean. having a good restaurant on site made relaxing and spending the day on the beach very easy and enjoyable. if you like dogs, there were lots of puppies to play with. i didn't partake in any tours because i was there to relax but they were easily accessible.
