A comfortable hotel, not many restaurants close to the hotel. Ate at the hotel one evening but not very good food. Service was good throughout the hotel.

I booked this hotel with a little trepidation because as yet Qui Nohn is not a tourist destination for Europeans however I was Very pleasantly surprised. The moment we arrived we were met at the door by a lovely young lady who spoke very good English she explained everything about the hotel breakfast etc Our room was large and airy and had a view of the beach and the town. It was very clean and well cleaned every day. The restaurant food is very good and very reasonabally priced and we ate in there several nights as we did have a bit of rain (not the hotels fault ha ha) We walked into the town where there is a small shopping mall a nice pagoda to visit. As yet not a lot of people in the town speak English and some of the restaurants have no English translations on the menu . In the hotel however it is very easy as most speak very good English. I cannot praise the staff enough all were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

the hotel is located on the biggest street in quy nhon. all rooms have fantastic ocean view. since there have been shark attacks in the surrounding sea area, nets have been set up to prevent the sharks.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
get a taxi to hàm tử street near thị nại port where you can rent a boat for about and enjoy a boat tour around hai minh peninsular with fantastic view and almost untouched nature.

Our stay at Seagull was really comfortable. It's one of the larger high rise hotels in Quy Nhon and the facilities are good for the price. The women at reception were always really lovely and helpful and making sure our stay was nice. Buffet breakfast was one of the best we've had in Vietnam with plenty of choice. The rooms seemed to all have views of the ocean and it was a very comfortable room with the best bed and pillows we've had. It is about a 2km walk into the town centre but there are restaurants closer than that to the hotel and the walk into town along the beach is nice. The pool was nice to relax by and it wasn't very chlorinated. We really enjoyed our stay st seagull.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
People are friendly but there aren't a lot of tourists in Quy Nhon so be prepared for being stared at a lot.
None of the restaurants have English menus and communication isn't overly easy.
Barbara's backpackers across the road (slightly south) is a good place for tourist info and motorbike/bicycle rental and a western menu.
20km south is a beautiful beach called Bai Bau which was empty for us on a weekday. It's 10,000 dong per person and totally worth it! A nice coastal ride away on a motorbike too!

Had a very relaxing stay at this hotel, staff very friendly and very helpful, lovely swimming pool but very cold. Complementary fruit most days brought to your room. Bright clean rooms.I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to stay here
