Just a weekend away with family and small children, then Lan Rung is quite an option to go! You can have the stay and food at the same time! Quite ok!

Lan Rung is located in beautiful location. I love violet so i really love the color over there. But my room looked old and i don't like it.

i stay at lan rung for 3 nights. the room is good with lovely decorations. the staffs are friendly and helpful.
one negative point for the room is: there is a closed door between my room and another one, during the night i was disturbed by the other guest try to open that door.
another negative point: the buffet have few to choose and there are some fly in side and they landing on the foods==> look terrible !!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
there is a statue of Jesus Christ, which is bigger than the one in Rio.

The hotel itself was okay but the Hillside rooms are across a main road from the rest of the hotel including the restuarant. Not good for the elderly as a big climb uphill and steps to the room after negotiating the traffic.
The staff were reasonably friendly but most cannot speak english and the few that can are quite poor with the english language.
Vung tau itself is no good in my opinion for foreign tourists. I believe it is set up for domestic tourists. hardly anyone can speak english and not many things to do or see.
The cable car up to a small amusement park is ok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Not much to see or do.

i stayed there for 1 night. all i can say is lan rung have a good service. their room make me think about the princess room. even food are not good.

all of the staff at the lan rung hotel were not friendly the check in staff were quite cold as was the service in the restaurant the only smile we received was on checking out. the room on check in smelt of damp.
