Reasonable hotel in Vung Tau

This hotel does a pretty solid job for what it costs. It's right over the road from Back Beach in Vung Tau, which is busy, but perfectly serviceable.
One tip - get a sea view room. The other side of the hotel is a pool where they play nasty techno from about 7am-9am. Strangely when they've annoyed everyone who wants to sleep in, they switch it off! But it's probably not loud enough to disturb those at the front of the hotel.

The stay at Sammy Hotel was fine. Our room was comfortable with a bit of a view over the city. I wouldn't really call it a mountain view. Unfortunately the room smelt bad of cigarettes and both my girlfriend and I hate the smell. It was very hot though and we were thankful for the good aircon and the nice pool. The beach although not anything special was very convenient. The restaurant breakfast was included and they made a nice omelette. We used a tandem bicycle from the hotel but the chain was rusty and broke within 10 minutes ride. They gave us the money back though.

It was fun and relaxing.
Nice size room with a very comfortable bed, and a good size TV. Pool was big and clean with easy access to locker room.

I enjoyed my stay. We were were friends who had children and they enjoyed the pool and breakfast.
